Tempting fate a little i know but if we stay up i would like to know what as a fan your transfer strategy would be? do you go splurge obscene amounts of money on the exotic overseas players with exciting names or are you more pragmatic and stick to what you know?

I ask this because like any fan of any club you always look and notice when certain "names" get linked with your club and then the mind goes into overdrive.....so as it would seem at our club they like to grab a headline about a transfer than seemingly have any thought or research gone into the player so is it to say look at us we can pay £££££'s for players....Ego for from the owners? looking to appease fans? or just hit n hope as long as they sell shirts?

So like Rice gets linked here there and everywhere the same goes with that guy at Palace Zaha...yes i know as ever he's available on a free so of course we are linked so do Managers think hey he's a freebie so why not but everyone knows a free transfer is never that....do they look at his age his injury record will he fit in will he be a team player etc because all those factors surely have to come in to that and is the player worth thecost/risk.

As an example if and take away your own prejudices about the player if he was available he wants to stay in London would you say take Zaha on a free or say no and bid for the Lad Jack Clarke at Sunderland who is raw but has a lot of potential and will be 23 this year will not demand big wages and will be chomping at the bit to prove himself in the prem.

For me it is a know brainer you steer clear of Zaha and the Walcotts of this world and go looking for up and coming exciting talent.....now not having a dig at Scamacca here because given the chance he will come good but we are going to need a change of manager(may be several threads about that subject)if he is to thrive.

so looking at our strikers...Ings not getting any younger....Antonio not a striker....Cornet not a striker....Scamacca injured out of form and clearly pissed off with the manager what would you do? go exotic overseas or do proper research and look at that proving ground that is the championship?

Ings/Antonio for me should be let go in the summer regardless of the loss we will take on Ings forget the French market and promote from within and again for that to happen the current manager has to go.....but proper research has to be done...

So what would your policy be? West Ham are massive 60thousand crowds so have to throw huge money at the market or more conservative and not go for the easy options?

A couple of weeks back my family decided to treat me to a day out and look around my old stomping grounds many of which are unrecognisable from my youth but in most cases been improved for the better but when i was taken down Green Street to where the old Boleyn Ground stood it bought a tear to this old mans eyes what happened happens a lot they call it progress time moves on stands still for no man and so on and so forth but the heart was ripped out of the community and it feels empty.

Part of my day out was a Stadium tour of the new ground i admit to being a bit overwhelmed at the size of the place.The young lady who was taking us on the tour was very nice but seemed to me like its just a job not a passion and West Ham was only part of the Stadium as plenty of other events happen not just football.

After the tour i have to admit i feel like i have lost a dear friend,Big and flashy the new place may look but dig underneath it is just not West Ham and it most certainly is not a football ground of course i am looking at it from my generation and not many of those are left now and a new set of fans who will of never known the Boleyn ground step forward i wish them all the best but i know in my heart of hearts they will never experience the true nature of what our great club once was because it was part of the community and now it is just a commodity for the rich to tinker with.

My three sons and my grandsons and great grandsons are all season ticket holders at West Ham but now they are all of them considering not having another after this season they all feel let down by the owners who appear to be a puzzle nobody can solve.

They have invested a large amount of money into the squad but do not seem to be able to see that relegation is pretty much going to happen if they keep this manager.

So the time of year is coming around where season ticket renewals are sent out with little reminders along the lines of renew early and get a better price but what price and savings can be made when you do not know which league you will be playing in in the season to come

If found guilty of the charges that the premier league have made against Citeh would they have the balls to kick them out of the Prem? if true it is what should happen as a fine is chicken feed to them and a points deduction is annoying but they would not suffer long.....of course this has all to be left to the governing body and ultimately i dont doubt the courts but seeing as this has taken the Prem 5 years already i doubt a speedy resoloution is on the horizon....so if they are found guilty what would you do with them? Juventus many years ago were kicked out of seria A and on these shores Rangers kicked out of the Scottish Prem so if FFP that Chelski making a mockery of right now with loopholes etc but if a breach of the Premier Leagues rules are found in there favour because of the popularity of our game around the world surely the ultimate sanction has to be made on clubs who do this or is this just the tip of the iceberg and if they do it to one they have to do it to all who are in breach of the rule.

but all the media speculation about that’s going on with West Ham, players futures speculation and transfers and such and the Noble incident. It just seems to me that it’s all coming out when we are low in the table and it seems to be leaked by someone around the club and it’s taking the focus off the fact that the board failed to act months ago on Moyes and his stubborn ineptitude at getting the team firing. We have good players at our club but Moyes always wants to make them play positions they are not use to and it shows in our results. He stated he wants the Red Bull style of young players but won’t give our young players a chance, he sticks with his tried and trusted players that are out of form and getting older even though he has players like Flynn Downes, Ashley, Divin and such but never gives them a chance. The thing is the board where gutless when it was required and now all these rumours of Ant and Decs transfer babble coming out just seem to be covering up the real problems.

Hammers65 coined the phrase now like many a conspiracy ancient aliens theorists does it exist? is it a real thing? lets look at the evidence.perfectly healthy physically strong athletes come into contact with the alledged phenomena suffer debilitating illness/injury that can last for 3/4 weeks or 6 months plus and even after recovery there is seemingly no immunity to it and it can return at any point only moving away can seemingly restore the person to full health! but what does seem strange is the ordinary man/woman(nope not going there with the rest of that shite)in the same area seem totally immune to its affect what is going on?one theory is if you do not earn in excess of £100 thousand+ a week you never in danger of being struck down by this mysterious phenomenon.....if you have any stories about this please send to Mulder&Scully research inc.

Wolves finally signed Craig Dawson,gone there for family reasons,but will be sorely missed imo.When he signed we all said "What!!" But talk about prove us wrong old school centre half in the 'ginge' mould....Always gave everything,always got stuck in & certainly caused a lot of chaos in opposing defences!! Great header of the ball from a corner & wasnt far off top goal scorer at times for us! Will always be respected by Westham fans for his efforts,wish him all the best - Ballon d'aws!!

about transfers. It seems Arsenal have made Deccers their main target trying to beat Chelsea, be interesting how Decs feels about that being a Chelsea fan would he be willing to go to their arch rivals. Also heard that Conner Gallagher, Zihich and another are targets of Newcastle. For me I think we could do some business here. Promise to sell Decs to them in the summer if they give us Zihich and Gallagher on loan then they can have Decs in the summer for both players and £40 million. We all know that he is going to go so why not use his sale to build up our team and I think both players will improve us. Just putting it out there to get other views.
