Now first thing for me to say here is I'm not a fan of the International stage. I pretty much stopped watching meaningless England games decades ago. However, I do watch some qualifiers of substance. Along with tournaments when we are in them.

Would I class myself as a fan? Probably not. But I am a very proud Englishman. When asked am I British? I always say no, I'm English. As a 60 year old Englishman I think I've earned the right to that opinion.

Now that we live in a world full of snowflakes and PC correctness. Something I openly admit to struggling with in society these days. The world is a crazy place as I see it.

Which leads me back on topic. Why have Nike with the backing of the FA tampered with the cross of St George? The cross of St George symbolises England as a nation. It has been on our football shirts for decades. But now some wet wipe at Nike has decided to change the colour. It's now red, blue and purple.

What the actual fvck is going on? How can this happen. Is it because we are supposed to be a diverse society? I'm sorry I'm a traditionalist. Would they mess with the Union Jack? No of course they would not. So what gives them the right to mess with the nations identity?

We are not the British football team. We are not Scotland, Wales or Ireland. We are England and we have an identity. That identity is the cross of St George.

Growing up as a kid, there were certain footballers back in the early 70's. That had that x factor even back then. An evolution of mavericks if you like? Frank Worthington, Rodney Marsh, Stan Bowles, Tony Currie, and of course the greatest of all George Best.

Even back then, they were different. Did different things on the pitch. Saw the game differently if you like. They were the reason I took my ball over the green every day after school.

Stan Bowles was one of the greats, like the rest in the group, Not exactly a role model, but my god what a player!!

Tim Steiden had a really good summer with Kudos and Alviarez but this winter has been really pants, Lost Pabs and Beni so to my thinking we are really light and in the Bournmouth game he had Mubama on the bench we all knew that was a token player because he played in the U-21's the night b4 so the only option was Granni Dings, and I think this is going to be like this for the rest of the season-match and patch, players out of position. Steiden Knows that we are going to be very lucky to stay in Europe made himsef look a pillock dealing with the wrong agent for Osman and he has'nt landed 1 player this saeson cos Moyes has been after Philips for Yonks, so its Liverpool here we come They will deffo be in Europe, Will he missed Jurys out for me after this window

Hi fellow Hammers. It has been some time since I've contributed to the Org and I am talking years. I always enjoyed the comments and the craic.
As usual West Ham never fail to excite us or frustrate us and like us all I am still waiting 44 years for that FA Cup win.
What can I say about David Moyes, he's had success, even though the way he does it can sometimes frustrate fans. Prague has been one of the highlights.
This season we are doing ok and still in Europe.
Today against Sheffield utd we had a touch of European rugby at the end. VAR must have been on the way home when that happened.
When we have our first 11 fit, we can put it up to anybody.

coming in but most is the media taking the mick, the one that does look like it could happen is Kalvin Phillips, yes the same bloke that two seasons ago knocked us back because he wanted a big club. The loan price is 7 million and the wages are 130,000 a week for 4 months which totals nearly 9 million for a player with a massive injury record. The thing that really worries me is who will Moyes bench to make way for him, Soucek he never drops or subs whether he is having a good game or a shit game. JWP who he relies on for his corners and free kicks which at the moment are hit and miss or Alvarez who is a Steidten import and is the first player he takes of each game. For me I would rather us bring in someone that can be a good cover for Alvarez and hopefully if Moyes new contract doesn’t happen can replace Soucek.
