Will you be going to the Betway Cup Match

Submitted by cast iron on

Because i wont- and urge fans to sign the petition i have supported WHU since 1963 and I think what the board is is doing to the under 18s and people over 66 is disgusting. They would sooner see a tourist sitting in my seat than see a loyal supporter, Wonder if that Tourist will sit there if West ham get relegated like I have. I thought that WHU was a family club but not anymore, it seems that all Sullivan, Brady and Co are intrested in is Money and selling club merchandise, Its a Shame that they think we will be there come what may, and we will renew no matter what, this is a little different this time because I have taken this more personally and it is aimed at older supporters it has made me feel unwanted,2nd class, like we don't matter- all they are interested in is their returns and it surprised me that there attitude is so bad and they think supporters will put up with being treated like this, with total disrespect I would like to to see Sullivan and Brady come on social media and Justify their greed, treating loyal supporters in this manner, and acted as greedy , money grabbers who not interested in the football only the money and their investments.

Dark Day

Woken up to the news that young Millwall keeper Sarkic has died at just 26. Then to be followed by the news Kevin Campbell has also passed at just 54. Really does not make sense. Hoping Liverpool legend Hansen can stay strong.

DeMoyesing West Ham

Heard this today from a young West Ham fan who works in the postroom and i have to say i loved the sound of it i mean just the thought of a different way to play makes those dark clouds break up and the rays of light come beaming through getting brighter as the days go by.

Hearing the rumours of players to be moved out and the possible ones to come in start to peak your interest again where as the thought of Maguire/McTominay and co coming in under the previous regime just made those clouds get darker but not anymore.

Like all of us we are wondering how we will line up how we will play what will the new signings be like and that is so refreshing compared to what was a very very predictable line up week in week out under Moyes.

I hope we do well but i really really hope that for once we do take the domestic cups seriously this season after all it is a good way to get back into Europe.

DeMoyesing ahhh yes i feel like a great weight has been lifted from the fans and the club exciting isn't it.

Paint drying

This time of year is such a drag and with my holiday still over a month away finding something to occupy yourself with can be so difficult at times.
I was dragged kicking and screaming by my friends to the Derby at Epsom last weekend "it'll be a lovely day out to the sticks" they said its horse racing i said Zzzz but i went along on that long old journey and i'm sorry being such a city girl but how do people exist when there is next to nothing to do on that vast open space and surrounding area! so thank god for the Prosecco which helped dim the memory of Saturday lol just get me back to the city and the Euros just over a week away i think i can cope till then but only just. So for now it is back to the transfer rumour monger mill and watching the paint dry on my living room walls uggh i dislike this time of year when the football has stopped tennis no horse racing no darts no snooker no rugby mmm maybe at a push.

Young Mr Earthy

So during my lunchbreak yesterday i watched JLo's first day at West Ham video and all the usual stuff you'd expect to see but the one part that made me smile was when you saw Noble shouting George come here what you doing here as they were showing Jlo the training facilities and the young man replied training on your day off? Noble said surprisingly yeah on my own.
Now that is a marvelous attitude to have and to see and if not all sort of fixed to happen yes a tad cynical i know then this young man will go far indeed so well done George and i hope to see you playing in the first team next season.

Don't Know

What's going to happen in the summer?? A lot of current first teamers are out of contract, Mubama, Johnson to leave, can't see Cornet or Ings wanting to stick around either. If Moyes does go, will it mean Benrahma might come back?? Don't really understand why in the £500m that has been spent, Moyes hasn't actually built a squad, in fact he doesn't even have a contingency for when 2 or 3 of our current squad are injured or suspended, hence Bristol City in the Cup.
Ings had started to play well, then the players come back and he's dumped to the bench again, Cornet had come in assisted a goal in Europe, then scored his first goal in the Claret and Blue of West Ham, then dropped again when missing players come back. Not one of the fringe players can ever build up a run of form before being sabotaged by Moyes again. Yes Ings hasn't been all that, and has fluffed his lines a few times, but there is no doubting his talent with the ball played in to his feet, with a few games under his belt.
