Lewis Orford

Submitted by Dartford Bhoy on

Apparently, West Ham have made a £30m bid and offered 18-year-old English midfielder Lewis Orford in a move to sign Aston Villa and Colombia striker Jhon Duran.

Cant say this feels like good business.

Duran Duran has issues, seen as a bad boy, probably upset the dressing room, just feels like too much and now smacking of desperation to get a forward to join us.

Not happy about losing Orford. Local lad, been through the academy and was hailed as a cross between Rice and Lampard, sort of kid you would want to develop?

Same old West Ham

Submitted by Enfieldhammer on

With a wafer thin ageing squad. It has to be a major concern that West Ham have only made 1 signing who will improve our first team. Kilman arrived 2 weeks ago. I was to believe Loppy wanted players in place before pre-season begun.
I also notice that the Cat kicking Carthorse Zouma is Captain today. Club is a mess.

Can we talk England?

I know this is WHU channel but this Sunday is a bit special so what we doing I would bench Kane and Trippier not just because they r ex -spuds but not impressed with aris performance think we were arson lucky to get the penalty wasn’t the best taken pen. Think shore was much better than Trippier.Noticed that Conan did what Denmark did with 2 banks of 4 and maybe Spain will do the same fed up withMoretas play acting there kicked it off what do you predict mm2-2 England win on pens 5-4

Brady's Open Letter

Submitted by cast iron on

Has anybody read Karen Brady's Letter to WHU fans she seems completely oblivious to the concessions problem, and I think that she expects this problem to go away. As Neville wrote about Danny Inngs and the waste of money for Calvin Phillips shows how out of touch she is. Affordable football- looking after the academy, we are going in the right direction with WHU women's team- 6th, three seasons ago then 8th now there 11th so I don't know what she's on about -completely wired up wrong, or perhaps she doesn't care all the sun she had out in Arabia has gone to her head -no wonder she could not find any investors. It has been estimated that cutting the concessions will save the club £600,000 but even if this amount is £1milloin, investing in family entertainment is a better investment than a lot of players that West Ham have lost money on, Ajeji, Wiltshire,Nasri, Vlassic, and Haller to name but a few. I think That the youth are the best return, because they are the future of West Ham, My father, and my kids are all West Ham fans, and my granddaughter who is 4 will, if she supports Spuds she lives in the shed,-Simples. This is how it has always been it used to be a family club, but not now apparently. Grandads buy programs and food and drink I will buy my Nephew's merchandise from the shop just like the tourists, and if we got relegated he would still be wearing it- but the tourists will be at Chelsea or Arsenal won't, they will buy a matchday scarf have a hot dog and that will be it a souvenir of the day - they are not true fans. So it looks like the clearing out of over 66's and under 18's out of the Lower tier is imminent and I will have to give renewing my season ticket a lot of thought. The board will be relying on supporters like me who have supported West Ham all their lives, I will always be a West Ham fan until I die. I enjoyed watching live football looks like this is going to be taken away unless I can Find the extra cash that it will cost me and my granddaughter, which will not be easy in todays day and age, so much for affordable football. I was watching my team before Lady Brady was even born. Let's hope that all this greed stops Brady thinks she is a businesswoman then let's see it, what's the explanation? why do you need to kick dedicated fans in the teeth over £600,000 When you have wasted millions over the past few years it's about time the board changed its greedy attitude and started thinking about its Supporters NOT its customers. The Amazing Gareth Southgate

Seriously, Is it just me who is in total despair at the dross this man is serving up with this England team? I'm on a couple of England fan forums on Facebook and I am incredulous at the amount of praise he is getting from fans on getting us this far, Really? Never mind the piss easy qualifying group to get here, he has the easiest route to the final and is STILL making it excruciating to watch.
After a whole season of Moyesball I really was hoping for a bit of light entertainment. Spain for me as winners.
