El Pel a busted flush?

4-1-4-1 El Pels preferred and apparently only formation he wants to play and we lose yet again...the team look lethargic no pace or belief or a clue as to whats going on around them...of course "we are brilliant in training" so all the players say but what about during a game? not one clue any of them.So its about time our wonderful manager who take the plaudits now needs to prove he can change and make us a better team.....against Palace we were Shit and today against Everton we were even worse and don't even try and argue Everton were better because they really were not playing against any kind of opposition.....not one player deserves any praise today and yet again the only one i feel sorry for is Haller as he plows a lone furrow upfront keep dropping deep or wide for any sign of the ball...meanwhile Anderson yet again brushed off the ball easily and making poor decisions Lanzini doing nothing Fornals tried but failed and oh yeah El Pels had a haircut.....this mess needs sorting because playing this formation just is not cutting it i am afraid and we begin our inevitable slide down the table....thanks West Ham for another non performance by all of our over hyped players.

All the ingredients to a typical west ham saturday

Everton Manager under huge pressure four games lost on the bounce injury crisis and a team shot of all confidence....West Ham no new injuries after the international break so apart from Fab and the Beast a full strength squad to pick from......I think we all know where i'm going here!! we should win this ffs the blunts won here and after that pathetic performance against Palace last time out the team yet again have got to prove to the fans that we can compete at the top of the table....This season more than ever top 6 even in dreamland the 4th spot is open for a team that wants it so i hope more than expect a win today but hey this is West Ham you know

So we lost to Palace is anyone really surprised?....after all the hype of beating Manure when you look at that display it was pretty much the same as Yesterdays game with our team strolling around the pitch making the opposition look better than they were only this time instead of a win to paper over what was an average display we got beaten and El Pel has got to change his approach IMO.playing one striker upfront who gets isolated and so drops back looking for the ball sounds ohh so familiar to us....Lanzini clearly not fit yesterday my god noble spent most of the match trying to do his roll while the game just passed Lanzini by...Anderson again put in an average display and really needs his arse kicking...no good whining saying that they had everyone behind the ball you have to deal with it and playing slow predictable football with square balls and not getting behind them is not the way to do it...look at the movement for our goal it was quick snappy and they could not cope but soon as that went in we just reverted back to no pressure on the ball and so they settled and it was fairly predictable that what happened happened!......So El Pel pull your finger out and lets try and put another striker on the pitch to compliment Haller especially when playing this kind of opposition against better sides you can understand it but Palace and the like come on now.

El Pel never learns

So a competition El Pel loves and wanted to win sees us thumped 4-0 by a div 1 side and it did not flatter them they deserved it and this follows on from our thumping by Wimbledon in the F.A. Cup last season so it would appear our manager has learned very very little about the players and mentality that they have. Many have said it before and to most it makes sense and that is play your best side get the game won then sub your key players but apparently 3 points in the prem are of more importance than silverware,so onto saturday now and the team have just got to win otherwise what is the point in resting our so called big players.

Arthur or Cressy this weekend?

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Bournemouth always a tough game for us and they have two in form and very very good strikers so who will start on the left for us Arthur or Cresswell? well for me i would drop Anderson to the bench and play both as Arthur can put in a decent cross for Haller and Cressy can do that as well and it may make us a little bit better defensively although recently we have looked good in that dept.....of course it all depends on who plays against Oxford on Wednesday but having Anderson on the bench itching to prove a point to El Pel could well work in our favour and what a player to have coming on as players legs get tired.....Will it happen mmm i dont think so but its just a thought of my own i wanted to air and get others opinions on.

As for the rest

West ham top 6 they say naaa Everton Arsenal Leicester Wolves better bets they say and after last nights 0-0 draw and the table came up the presenter said West ham WITH just 8 points after Five games errrr same as manure,spuds,leicester,gooners,chelski....the media hate us but on the current evidence Gooners ok going forward crap at the back Everton flatter to deceive and i reckon Silva on borrowed time there chelski doing ok but now europe kicking in they will start to fade IMO manure treading water and yet to play well and we will cane them saturday spuds the big i am will win nothing as usual only Leicester i think can challenge us they have a good squad all round so all the bloody pundits can shove it as far as i am concerned and long may they squirm in there seats announcing everyone but West Ham can be a top 6 side...COYI lets show em what we are about.

Mark Noble what can you say about Mr West Ham his influence on the side and Rice in particular is there for the world to see....Criticised by many Me included in the whole legs gone debate but he has proved me and a lot of others wrong and long may it continue...the Rollocking he gave the midfielders and strikers for not tracking back on Watfords goal and other times is whats needed an enormous presence and personality on the pitch that no other player in our side has a true Captain and leader and to play for 90mins in that heat for his first game of the season was incredible...Well Done Mr Noble son well done indeed

Deeney Licking his lips

Acid test for El Pel tomorrow lets see what he comes up with this time....Watford played 2 lost 2 and not scored a goal easy pickings you may think but i doubt that and many on here probably the same.
Our porous defence got away with murder last week and any kind of performance like that again it could be another citeh result on our hands.....Of course Watford players and fans will be nervous but what better way to settle your nerves than to play West Ham!.
El Pel has to bite the bullet and resist his idea of free flowing attacking football leaving us open at the back for Deeney&co to batter us and he is more than capable of doing that...yes we won there last season 4-1 but we could and should of been 2-0 down before a wonderful Noble goal and Lanzini reacting faster than there defence gave us a flattering 0-2 ht lead add to that they had a guy sent off just minutes into the second half things fell for us on that day but not so sure this time around.....El Pel surely has to play a simple 442....Fab/Cressy(purely coz Arthurs a nightmare at the back)Diop/Balbuena/Fredericks/Rice/Noble(we wish but it'll be wheelchair)Antonio/Snodgrass(his type of game is why)Haller(if fit)Chicarito(only play if he has a strike partner)...of course i do not expect people to agree with the line up but i dont think we will get anything if El Pel plays Anderson/Fornals/Lanzini and just one up top...win the battle first then bring on Lanzini/Anderson/or Fornals to exploit the space but we shall see.....COYI
