I did not like Bilics selection right from the start, he dropped Reid and Barnes WHY?were they injured, thought Byram would be on the bench and give Arbeloa a chance in the first half. Collins would also have been on the bench in his place Oxford glad he played Ogbonna, would have kept Reid. Thought Adriane had a good game After his performance at Watford impressed with Kouyate, Fegoulli and Antonio.Za za and Nordtveit were below average. I would start Ashley Fletcher and try Obiang, Bearing in mind Carrol could be on the bench. 2or seasons ago I remember Downes coming in as a defensive coach, What ever Slaven said it did not work we leaked another 4 goals after Mansuaku's horrendous hand ball we were chasing the game shame really thought he played well against Watford, BUT we panicked we were like rabbits in the headlights just like the Watford game so what did they learn- Nothing. Its ok saying It never rains but it pours if Slaven does'nt find his umbrella we could be out of it by November with some real big fixtures ahead,time to get a defender coaching , Arbeloa springs to mind. the problem is last season we pulled off some amazing wins at city and arsenal etc. its obvious we aren't going to get anywhere near those heights this season. the main problem is we're losing to wba and watford. second season syndrome looks like its set in to bilic reign and it looks like its going to be a season of trying to finish mid table (so far anyway). my opinion is and some disagree thats fine but our signings just aren't what was required. some of them may turn out to be good players for us but fact is we need players that were going to come in and take us forwards, not players who have to take a season to bed in. other teams have surpassed us in the transfer market and its showing early on….everton for example, a shambles last season are rejuvenated with bolasie and co. liverpool with mane, palace are improving with bent eke, and then the sleeping giants of man u and city are awake with new managers and new signings. question is did we over achieve last season due to our greatness or others decline? and have we failed to push forwards with our signings of zaza, calleri, nordveit, tore, ayew? we can argue that this time round we 'spent' big…but did we really or was it in proportion to the extra revenue and tv deals? and did we spend big on average players instead of players that would be better than what we had? its all 'knee jerk' reaction perhaps….but its a debate worth discussing in my view. theres also the matter of some of bilic decisions….favouring calleri over fletcher all the time when its clear as day that calleri is nowhere near ready for this level of football whereas fletcher shows signs of actually affecting a game. the decision on antonio early on. all i can say is in my view we need carroll and cresswell back as even a fully fit payet doesnt seem to have enough to get us winning against the likes of watford and wba at the moment although to be fair its the defence that is a disaster.

I did the tour today and got a ticket for Wednesday's game and was told Sat game was members only, really pissed off.

"What an atmosphere", sorry had to do it. Looking at this site and others and just the social media and general media comment on our new stadium, I think I've realised how gullible and naive as fans we are. Before and just after we got the stadium, it was all this legal stuff, over our right to be given it. Then we were told we wouldn't fill it, then we were told the atmosphere will be crap like the Emirates. We were told all this "The Media", every other Tom, Dick and Harry and also by some of our own fans. These fans I describe as the nostalgists, who remember the smell of horse chestnuts in 1958, but actually rarely went to UP anyway. I remember plenty of quiet evenings at UP, let's not kid ourselves that it was always like it was against Man U on that last night. I remember the first times we started to hear the boos, in recent years, so let's not bite on this claim by others that the atmosphere at just the OS is crap. For 35 mins on Saturday it was up there with anything else I've heard at the old place. It also coincided with us playing some amazing football. I think our problem is that we are listening to all these outside comments and trying to prove ourselves. We started to become divisive as fans. The "Standers and Sitters". The Standers think all the sitters are tourists and the Sitters think all the Standers are inconsiderate twats. What about just the "West Ham Supporters"? Are we not all there for the same reason? Yes it's no UP, yes it's not as secure, it's a schlepp to the station, blah blah blah, but so what? If we played at Hackney Marshes I'd go and watch them because it's my team and my club. I don't need to be enticed or sold the idea of going to watch them, what's all that about? I do believe an amnesty over fans sections should be reached quickly. But please don't tell us that we're tourists if we don't stand or stop singing after watching us lose a 2-0 lead to Watford! You can sing and stand as much as you like. We all support in different ways. As for the segregation issue and opposing fans. How about, self control? You know, give the banter, but do you have to fight? Spit at women, curse in front of kids and the elderly? What happens to make these men think it's ok to do this at a football match? Those days are over, move on, you're not Ray Winston and it's not a Nick Love film set. Lastly we've become so instant mash. We had a crap hour on Saturday, embarrassing and shameful, but now Ginge must retire, Byram isn't ready, yet Oxford is? What happens if he has a bad game too? Kouyate is finished and Tomkins should never have been sold? Really? One hour of football and all these assumptions? Lots of hindsight calls as well, "I wouldn't have started with Reid and Ginge" no shit Sherlock! Didn't say that when the teams came out though? All I saw was, "this is our strongest team" stuff. Calm down take a breath guys get yourself along to a match, if you possibly can, deal with the fact we've moved and let's look forward and upwards and act fittingly to fit in with our new mega stadium. Hopefully at some point the team will join us on the new journey...

But because of the idiots fighting and for what? have heard many reasons behind this from poor stewarding to bad segregation to people who just love fighting...there were kids around but it seemed to make no difference to those brainless fools who think they are hard men pathetic truly pathetic.....but I have a feeling this is just the start with so many stories about non west ham fans having season tickets because the club so quick to dish out tickets basically did not work out how the "extra" season tickets could be abused....so you end up with a bowl of a stadium with pockets of fans trying to create an atmosphere and they could be sitting/standing next to people who don't care about west ham...I have yet to go to the stadium and I cannot say I am enticed to do so....on the segregation front I hear you can walk around the stadium and go in through any entrance and then walk all way around inside to get to where you want to be....if true then that is madness wait till spuds/manure/chelski and god forbid millscum if we draw them in the cup.....we are stuck with this situation now and it seems the F.A are now investigating what happened ground closure? prob not yet but I expect a fine no doubt....so messrs gold/Sullivan/brady this "world class stadia" you harped on about has plenty of teething problems and needs to be sorted quicksmart or I for one will not set foot in it and just support from afar.
