Australia into the World Cup in Russia

Submitted by albyforeverirons. on

I know this has nothing to do with West Ham but as an Aussie I am a happy man.. They played Honduras away and where held to a 0.0 draw and came back to Australia to play tonight and won 3. 1 with Yadinak the ex Palace captain scoring all 3 for Australia even though the first one was put down as an own goal because of the deflection and then 2 penalties. Looking forward to watching Russia 2018 now and it orgers well for the game here.

new manager and 3 assistant managers

Submitted by cast iron on

Although I wasn't all that keen on the appointment of David Moyes I am really pleased with the 3 assistant he has got, and if anyone can get our defence sorted out its Pearce and he should be good with the youth. You have 4 good footballing men there and I don't think we will be Tactically Inept anymore. I was not looking forward to the Watford game but what with all their injury problems, I think we could nick 3 points off them It can do no harm to WHU confidence

The pro's of Moyes

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

we as fans don't have a say in who manages, thats life. So if the rumours are to be believed like it or not Moyes could be taking over. Im not a fan of his, due to his poor record and drab approach. However, what i will say on a more positive note is that there are some pro's certainly over Bilic:

1. He will give the team a solid shape
2. He will sort out the defensive side
3. He will get angry with players not doing their jobs as opposed to Bilic's 'ooh, ar, I can't explain what happened' attitude.
4. He could stay long term if successful as no bigger teams will take him on anymore and he's British.
5. He can work with a tight budget.

Feel free to add anymore to the list, but lets try and make it a positive one….the negatives are many too but whats the point, we need some optimism.

I think Slav could go on Saturday

Submitted by cast iron on

G&S gave him 2 matches but I'm wondering if they meant 2 premier matches still I don't think this will matter we wont win on Sat and if we get battered on Sat night I can see Slav going on Monday. Funny thing 2 weeks ago we had a full squad but with Collins Fonte Byram Reed and Zabaleta suspended it don't look too good for us or Billick. It would be the perfect time for this with the International break coming up it would give a new manager to coach his players

Lenuse

Just to let you know that Hughsie, my cousin, is currently just out of intensive care after a serious car accident in the Midlands last week.
The situation is that he should be ok but he'll be out of action for a while which means that he'll be sadly missed by the many people whom he works with in Football.
He may not be the favourite of many of you lot on here, but I'm sure you'll all wish him the very best for a speedy recovery.

I'll believe when I see it.

Well often they are just rumours, but I have heard a rumour that the players were given the day off so things don't leak but there was a meeting and bilic is gone. Either resigned or sacked. Anyway my thoughts are the title of the thread. I certainly hope I wake tomorrow to a conformation on that one.

Cariboo cup tickets

Submitted by cast iron on

I don't know how you spell Cariboo but you know the fixture I mean against spurs away. At Wembley does anybody know the drill for applying for tickets away at Wembley. I've been on the official website and it doesn't say how you get the tickets don't know if you roll up at Wembley and buy them on the night or wot. It is certainly not very clear.
