Gianluka Scamacca

Submitted by cast iron on

Just saw that there are a lot of rumors out there about this guy he's 32 Million+add onns and a proper center-forward 6 ft 4 in, 23years old Italian international -I remember ZaZa bit reserved about Italian forwards only had one really good Italian and he was a legend. But his record is good, Although so was Hallers when we got him. Got a funny feeling this is going through and the Broja deal is off. The other thing is that he has scored a lot of goals this season all with his right foot and one header. I know what's coming only believe it when u see him wearing the shirt. Please God let him be as good as De Canio. COYI

Diop, Soucek and Vlasic

Submitted by Gravs on

Listening to 'Moore Than Just A Podcast' and the subject of bids would be accepted for these players, correct me but Soucek is a 1st team player, not just a squad member. Diop may not be in the 1st team, but it's going to take Aguerd a while to settle, we've signed Downes but he is raw and never played Premier League football before. If these players are sold then this makes the squad even smaller than last season.
As is Vlasic, he may not have set the Premier League alight last season but he's still 'Strong' We read Dawson wants eventually to return up North, as does Cresswell so it's been reported. Unless the squad will be bulked out by the U23's.

All time favourite Penalty taker

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Tonka?/Terminator/Mr West Ham.......difficult one isn't it.

For me it has to be Tonka he was such a great penalty taker nobody who is a West Ham fan can forget the last gasp penalty against the bindippers in the league cup final 120th min steps up places it past Ray Clemence a world class gk....then the Villa cannonball in he quarter final of the F.A.cup two pens that live long in the memory.

Terminator putting Schmeichel as well as the ball in the net another memorable one another exceptional talent from the spot...none of the bollox you see from players who hop skip jump get a haircut before missing!.

Noble prob missed a few more but he was ice cool from the spot and the Manure farce from last season aside he has been our most reliable taker for a long time.

so the Kings are dead who will be the new king? and whoever it is FFS learn from those three stop the mind games with the keeper just get it on target and hit the bloody thing...keeper saves he saves but FFS don't make the pen a pass.

Who would buy the current West Ham first team players?

Submitted by Chippy Dave on

If all of the West Ham first 11 were put up for sale, realistically what level of English football team would buy them to put in their first 11?
I’ll start….

Fabianski - bottom half prem/ newly promoted side
Coufal - mid/ bottom half prem
Dawson - newly promoted side
Zouma - between 2nd and 8th place prem side
Cresswell - newly promoted side
Formals - between 4th and 10th placed prem side
Rice - top 4 side
Soucek - between 4th and 10th placed prem side
Lanzini - bottom 8 prem side
Benrahma - 8th place prem and below
Antonio - bottom 8 side/ newly promoted side

With this in mind has Moyes worked miracles or am I being unfair??

Who is to blame?

Submitted by Enfieldhammer on

With the need for a substantial influx of bodies & good ones at that. Who is to blame for the inactivity we are seeing? Now i am no fan of the board as rants from yester year with Fareham will testify.
The way I see things. Sullivan always liked to bring in his players. But due to criticism and good form from the team he has relinquished himself from that role & gave Moyes the reigns on who comes and goes. He even appointed Newman to assist. Now in 10 months, all Moyes and Newman have come up with his a Centre Back & our reserve keeper of last season. It appears Moyes is hell bent on getting Lingard in and any additional players are to revolve around him. This is dangerous as we need quantity and quality. The longer Moyes leaves it the harder it will be and clubs will have the upper hand in negotiations when dealing with us.
So is Danjuma Sullivan driven? Is he getting itchy feet & realising what will happen. Potter from Hull should have been tied up early doors. Not wait until Lingard decides what he wants to do! By my reckoning we need 8 more players at least & if Moyes wants to intergrate these players he needs to liven himself up. Because i'm sorry to say. If we are going to continue to go forward. Creswell, Antonio are not starting eleven quality anymore.

Worried!!

Submitted by Gravs on

Anyone actually worried about the current status of the squad, there's talk of Alese, Baptiste and Ashby going on loan, a few senior players have left already, we have Coventry and Odubeko coming back, talk of Perkins, Longelo leaving.
The way things are going regarding signing reinforcements, all the melee and drama caused by no other than Mr Sullivan unable to sign off, on deals without trying to alter the deal at the last minute.
We have a Europa Conference qualifying round and it's possible we won't even have a squad of 16 senior professionals. Hoping we keep enough players to cover the game, then finding out that once again the Premier League are doing their utmost to start us off with very hard games, hope we actually get the players in on time.

Sullivan loan

Submitted by mcbikeman on

So the wonderful Sullivan is willing to loan £33million to ex Watford owner Laurence Bassini to buy Birmingham city and if he defaults on his repayments Sullivan takes control of Birmingham again......so is he preparing to jump ship in a years time?because i think you cannot be an owner of two football clubs at any one time....whats going on?
