Do we really want shot of him? i mean he improved the defence coming on at the weekend and yes i no well we all no he does make a howler now and then but so does Kilman and Todibo he still looks unfit just what is it about his fitness surely the coaches are doing something about it but is he as bad as people make out?

Now look i no he is built like a Greek God and those legs damn but looking past that(i promise that is quite difficult)surely he is a decent option off the bench? but watching an unfit Todibo an overrated Kilman is Mav really so bad?

A double barrelled question because lets be honest, Potters reign at the second half of last season was worse than the first half which got Lopetegui the tin tack.
However, that was still six months where you would have thought he would have had all his little soldiers that he wanted in, all lined up for the start of the transfer window and I'm not including his due diligence on the state of the club at the time of his appointment. So here we are, one player in that he wanted, (Dioff), one he didn't (Walker Peters) and allegedly one coming in (Wilson), that no-one wants. And here we are, three weeks away from the start of the new season.
Now I've never had much time for Potter as is well known, and I don't have much in the way of any respect for him. This little, if any respect I had, is diminishing day by day as this circus act he is presiding over drags on, because I personally would have walked by now. He's not hard up after a lovely little pension pot build up from Chelsea, but I would give him a slight nod of respect if he walked, the day before the start of the season if he hasn't got all his little soldiers that he wanted ready to go on the team sheet.

Not exactly new news that the club are not renewing the contracts of Coufal, Cresswell, Fabianski and Ings. Personally I find it a sad time as I have a lot of time for Aaron, Vlad and Lucasz and thank them for their loyal and tremendous service at the same time thinking they could have had at least another season as decent squad players, Be interesting to see who will be sitting on the bench next year in their place.
It's time for Ings to move on, without a shadow of doubt, but I'm not going to join in the hatred towards him. The carrot was dangled in front of him and he took it and don't you lot tell me you wouldn't have done the same. It wasn't his fault he wasn't given enough game time time to prove his worth, but still remained the consummate professional during his spell with us, so I wish him well also in his future projects.
Strange though, that word on the grapevine, is that Ants is getting an extension though.

Yeah, Hammer of the Year blah blah blah in what has been a very forgettable season and one that I needed the reruns for the goal and save of the season to remind me because they've all been buried in what must be the worst season in my living memory of this club. Yup, even those relegation seasons of '78, 89 and '2003 weren't as bad because even in those years I had hopes. Only other miserable one that could be up there would be Avram Grants term in 2011. Hang on........didn't he manage Chelsea as well?

What gives him the right to go against club medical advice to have surgery on his hamstring? His idea that he will heal "naturally" has not worked and he has now. after four months, undergone the surgery that should have been done in the first place with no chance of a pre season training and will not be back for availability until September. Hang on! Are we still paying his £30K a week wages while he sits in his hospital bed with a smug grin which is 100% a bad decision on his part?
