Broken Record

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Struggling for form lost our mojo our season is fizzling out and the manager is at a loss as to how to get a tune out of the players but clearly it is obvious to everyone but Moyes and co if you flog a dead horse for long enough it will fall to its knees and with our wafer thin squad that is what he has done.

I have no problem with Moyes prefering a small squad i don't but where he has fallen down as we all know is in the recruitment area and if you are going to play a season with a small playing staff you have to make sure that those who take to the pitch are looking over there shoulder if they do not perform they get replaced it is that fear that drives players to perform better watching yesterday it was clear no one player was worried unless of course you are Benny or forcandles.....look at the bench yesterday a keeper who Moyes clearly does not fancy young Johnson who we all must be wondering why he didn't start ahead of Fredericks then Diop lets face it one pass last week cannot redeem his dreadful displays this season but if we keep him he clearly needs intensive coaching...Yarma/noble/Kral 3 who will not be playing for us next season..Vlasic now there is a £35million conundrum...followed by a couple of kids Alese/Chesters who unless we were3-0 up would not get there kit dirty.

So the perfect storm this summer of Moyes and the transfer market and having to get a minimum of 8 players in personally i would be amazed if he managed 4......when we announce a new signing it is mainly for the U23's and potential and again nothing wrong with that but when none are blooded(Oko-Flex for the kidderminster game being the perfect example)for one reason or another you do start to worry as to why.

So as fans we wait as our team tumbles to a very respectable 8th in the league by seasons end(hope i am wrong there)what players will we attract?A season where manure/gooners going through transition spuds imploding Leicester going back to where they belong a very big opportunity has been missed by our club but hey we can cross our fingers and hope beyond hope that 2023 is the end of one era and a start of a shiney new one untill then the summer transfer market of 2022 is going to be a difficult time for dithering Dave and his cohorts.

Price Mystery For Euro Tickets

Submitted by nevillenixon on

Very strange that the club sent out text messages yesterday stating that the exclusive 'window' for season ticket holders to buy tickets for Hammers Europa League fixture would end at 11am on feb 18th, howver when we went to but tickets last night, a good 16 hours before the 'deadline' we found that one of our season ticket seats had ALREADY been sold! Apart from feeling mightly miffed that we will probably have some 50/50 scarf wearing tourist next to us, we were made aware the ticket prices were* 'SUBJECT TO CHANGE'.

BeingTraditionalist

The one thing that really annoys me about modern day football is the use of so called 2nd/3rd/4th/5th etc etc etc kits when there is no need
Colour clash you play in your away kit but everytime your team takes to the field unless you are at home god knows what they will be running out in and it Pi***s me off know end.
Nev/Ausiron mentioned they have trouble because they are colour blind with the kits whilst with me teams playing in Pink Brown eye hurting bright bright green orange and on and on it goes it is madness and unless supporters stop buying them it will go on and on.
My one wish and i am well aware it will never happen but my one wish is that the Prem and football league put a rule in that unless there is a real colour clash the traditional club shirt must be worn but like everything else nowadays it will not happen because as Jessie J sings its all about the price tag.

Whingers

Submitted by Hammers65 on

Anyone else getting bored with the constant whingeing by tuchel, klopp etc?
Tuchel whingeing about his players injured or struck down by covid, but no credit to Brighton who are actually a pretty decent side!
Moyes is a breath of fresh air imo,we've had injuries to main players, ridiculous VAR decisions that have cost us a fair few points lately & the only real moan moyes has had was saying how rubbish our team was post saints game & rightly so!!
