So after yesterdays results we have a great chance to get back into the top 6 and we need to make sure that we go for it and win but sadly like many i feel that at times Moyes is over cautious specially when we play at home and reading his comments about how tough this game against Everton will be i am already biting my fingernails thinking FFS Moyes Everton have been Shi*e all season stop building them up into world beaters and they got lucky beating the barcodes not they played really well blah blah blah......it is one of the things about his character that annoys me......lets be a bit more positive please David and lets put Fatboys team to the sword COYI

So we all know what needs doing this summer but when you see the likes of Kral hardly getting a game you do have to ask why the club have wasted money on wages for him when young Connor Coventry could of done just as well on the bench and although the young Lad Ashby has suffered hamstring injury he is another one who i have seen and thought yes he is worth a risk along with Perkins as well but because of Moyes and his if you will stubbornesss to take such risks we clearly are going to have a problem....Coventry at Mk dons on loan Perkins a very rare sighting Ashby as i mentioned injured but there are 3 players who could of been around the first team squad more learning about the big game atmosphere seeing how the senior players do things all would of helped in bringing them on but no that has not happened and it is so frustrating as the situation we now find ourselves in with so many players out of contract in the summer surely Moyes could of taken a risk or two? and seen if they are capable of first team football.....of course we as fans do not see what Moyes sees or the reports he must get from his coaches on player development but surely it makes sense to make use of the assets we have rather than continue to waste money on players like Kral who Moyes clearly does not rate.

After the heady experience of The mighty Irons (nail biting) victory over Sevilla I decided to take in the under 23's on Friday evening v Brighton. A few players caught my eye in the young Hammers ranks ... Alese was very commanding at the back, Perkins coud and should have had a first half hat-trick but to be fair Brighton young keeper pulled off a couple of blinding saves.
Hegyi pulled off a worldy, Longelo was kept busy nut overall looked quite composed. Ekwah netted a superb opener and was very commanding in the centre of midfield and the inter play between him an Alese was a joy to watch. Forson another goal scorer and incidently the smallest player on the pitch reminded me of Mark Ward in his pomp. Perkins impressed with his battling play and even though on the night he should have had at least 4 goals he never once gave up and got involved in a lot of forward play. Freddie Potts was another who put in a terrific and spirited performance. Thierry Nevers added a little something when he came on and indeed netted!
Kudos to Brighton and a few of their lads stood out as well, no's 7 & 11 (Peupion and Miller) both of Brightons scorers occupied the wide areas and were very impressive, constantly running and teasing our defenders, Mc Gill in goal had a very decent match and Brighton skipper Marc Leornard would look very good beside Alese.
What was evident is the overall team spirit and determination and the lads I mentioned for West Ham on this showing have a serious future in the game, Okoflex, Laing, Chesters and Greenidge all played their part and are certainly integral in this side, I hope this gives a little insight into the lads and hopefully encourage more fans to watch the and at £5 a real bargain and a great way to encourage our junior support.

What a save i mean it was one helluva save by Areola last night the sort of save that can make you a legend......from Parkes heroics in the 3rd round of the FA cup against an unbelievable WBA side when he got marked 10 out of 10 to Ludos one man stand to stop Manure winning the title to Adrians penalty shootout moment against Everton they more than make up for the Allen Mcknightmare/Roberto moments we have suffered....i know there are many more but age dims the old grey matter somewhat so please feel free to add your GK memories COYI

So after last nights magnificent effort by us to overturn a first leg deficit and win a tie few outside of West Ham supporters thought we could win how would the media react?? oh lets see Evertons stunning last gasp win splashed all over back pages ours a small panel saying Hammers win.....turned on Talksh**e this morning 6am i no i no bloody idiot well lets hear about it errr nothing talk about cheltenham Evertons big big win and 6.35ish they thought to mention our win.

Now as we all know if that had been the spuds or gooners manure etc there would of been 8 page pullout souvenier special but nope its just West Ham so i ask why do the media seemingly not so much hate as marginalise us? allegedly in the written media and on many sports shows a lot of the journalists and pundits are West Ham fans...look at last night with Darke and Mcmanaman comentating it was all how great Sevilla are how they never lose after first leg win how they do this that and the other and only only when Soucek scored did they start thinking mmm maybe we should start giving West Ham some credit here...so i have to ask does anyone no why there seems to be this bias against us in the media....look at the race for the top 4 now we dream of it but we doubt we can get it but we are still in with a chance but all you hear is well Gooners looking good spuds and manure then there's a pause and West Ham may still have a chance? what is there problem?

Naa Fu*k*m who cares been a long time coming with there dirty money....lets hope that house of cards falls.....

Why is this game over 2 hours earlier than the other kick offs? Instead of getting up at 7am to watch it I now have to get up at 4:45am!!

One man cannot make a team no matter how special he is and so like many who feared a battering after hearing he was out of the bindippers game the team managed quite well without him and although we did not win we did alright it actually showed how much we missed having a proper STRIKER who surely would of buried at least one of our chances..by not being there and so not the focus for the whole side we were not overrun and we aquitted ourselves quite well.

Will he stay or will he go? like yourselves i do not have a clue and if he looks at Grealish and just how few games he has played this season for Citeh maybe he will think nope i will give it another year but at the end of the day why worry our Massive club will still be there and new heroes will come to the fore but it is a TEAM sport not a one man band.

Totally out of form and giving us nothing right now.....he needs his backside kicking and a few others to Soucek way off it as well but i wonder if Moyes got Dec to sit deep for a game or two whether we would see Soucek come to the fore once more...the one decent game he had of recent times was Watford away when Dec was suspended suddenly we saw the old Soucek so maybe a tweak there could spark things off again...Of course neither of these will happen but its something i think Moyes needs to think about as he continues to fail in getting the team to play as they were earlier this season.
