January

It;s that time of year for going on a diet hunting a bargain and booking a bit of Winter sun break....and for those who over did it on the old CC for Christmas the bills due! but for West Ham it's the time to be linked to any and every player going with the dire situation we are in so this morning trawling through the usual sites trying to get an inkling of what might be happening i saw this little headline and it made me smile...West Ham have expressed interest in a January deal for 25-year-old Wolves and Norway striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.....now last year i mentioned this player and would be more than happy to have us sign him and if this rumour is true i still am...obviously he is not doing a lot this season as Wolves are so bad but he ticks the boxes for me and of all the other players we have been linked with so far and beggars can't be choosers i hope this is a deal we pull our finger out and make happen...no low bids no dragging it out throughout the window put in a bid that shows we are serious and hopefully the player thinks yes he wants out and we get him and one other striker.

9 wins needed

21 games to go and my belief is we need that many wins to stay up but where are they coming from? Fulham next up at the bowl of misery but how certain are we to win that? we threw away points at Bournemouth Brighton Villa had we not done that we would be in a lot better position to survive but now there is a gap and not only do we need to win we now have to rely on others dropping points and that is never good.

Relegation does it bother you?

For me not really and maybe not for the majority of the older generation i mean i remember looking at the table on World of sport(my Dad used to do the ITV7 back then)and West Ham were always in the bottom 5 they showed so is today really any different?....The Premier League is the be all and end all for the younger fans and many seem overly troubled by the thought of us being Relegated.
So is it really that big of a deal if we did go down? for Sullivan and co it would be as no tourists will be buying tickets for a Championship game so then they would be stuck with West Ham fans only!......But honestly would you miss some of the mercenary players that have no love for the shirt they are just interested in the ££££££££££'s.

If ever there was a good time to be playing this lot it is now and we have to be on the front foot and put them under pressure from the off on Sunday.

No sitting off letting them have the ball so we can counter no we need to hit them hard hit them fast so they will crumble do not let them settle and pass the ball around i mean stuffed 3-0 now 4-1 in successive home games they are going to be on edge.

COYI lets win lets get 3 precious points.
