Pablo

I know we've all got our opinion about players ,for years I was against Souhec making the team but this year I've been proved wrong,he's turned into a warrior on the pitch and a real gent off it,but this Pablo geezer is a different proposition, I can see the own at the club we paid 20 million for him ,who ever they are, falling around the place laughing,I can't think of a single player ,for any club that I think is do out of touch with what's goin on ,it's come to the point where I'm beginning to feel sorry for him ,he doesn't seem to have the basic stuff that it takes to be a pro footballer ,it completely does my head in .he runs arownd the place as if he's thinking " what the f*#k am I doin here .in front of all these people ,I never signed for this lot ,I signed for Maidstone town " ,anyway I seriously would love to know ye're opinion of him , sometimes I wonder if my age is playing tricks on me ,that I don't see things in the context that others do ,but this guy ??? Seriously.

Never good having to rely on others to help you out and now we are back in the shit because what was once in our own hands is now gone.
You can say what you like about how "unlucky we were against Brentford" but the fact is we lost because we never tried to win until we were losing....Everton we got away with because of the ridiculous subs and trying to defend a one goal lead for 20mins+Lucky for Nuno Wilson saved his bacon but a leopard wont change its spots and because of that we are down........yes we are no point in thinking anything else.
So whats next? well the future is easy to predict regarding player exodus on a scale we saw last summer and oh how those decisions have come to bite us in the arse eh Sullivan Brady Potter and co...I can see Nuno either walking or getting the bullet and just who would we give the job to? who has experience of getting a club out of the meat grinder that is the championship? who is available for £0? why one Scott Parker of course and do not be surprised if/when that happens.
So now some of the Academy players will be promoted to the first team and if we have any cash left after paying off some of the debt we will get journeymen on low wages to try and flesh out the squad and help the youngsters try and cope with fan demands of an immediate return but what then if we did manage to get promoted? and that most certainly is going to be a big ask to do that.
So we get back to the promise land by some miracle you are then struck with the new financial rules so as the Barcodes have discovered about the closed shop that is the Prem you can have all the money in the world but you are not allowed to spend it you can only use what you generate and so from being a stable Prem club(i no i laughed at that when i typed it)by being mismanaged for so many years the likes of Brentford/Palace/Fulham/Villa(rmbr they were in the championship)/Bournemouth/Forest/Leeds/Sunderland...all who were below us when we won the Conference league will be pushing on and so we will become a Yo Yo club neither one thing or the other.
Painting a pretty bleak future you may say but i am just pointing out the reality of the situation...It wont stop me supporting the club but years of mismanagement has Lead to this and the next 10 years will not be any better with owners like ours who stumble from one wrong decision to the next.

Question for those who go to the BOM

With all the drama going on in the boardroom and the power struggle for control of the club i would like to hear from those of you who have attended home matches about what may happen long term.

The biggest gripe of course is the stadium and if Sullivan gets booted out Kretinsky or whoever is in control must address this situation hopefully and if we were given permission to build a new "football" stadium would you be happy for it to remain where it is now or prefer a move off the site to somewhere with better access?

Having heard many horror stories of getting to and from the stadium i thought i'd ask those with experience of doing so would you like to stay or go if a new ground is proffered in the coming years.

And where would you like the new ground to be built if you are for the move away.

Spuds fans and players jumping around smiling cheering grinning like they had won the league after Simmons goal only to get a swift kick in the balls when Brighton got there Edward Woodward.....Loved the scenes then of all those sad teary eyed wankers realising they are still in the shit and deservedly so.

Now we have to capitalise on that slip up because until the last ball of the seasons kicked it is a proper dog fight and one we must not lose specially to that bunch of tossers so come on West Ham you have a chance to open up clear daylight on Monday night and add even more pressure onto that lot COYI

It's all become a joke league

It's come to this. We look at fixtures like Liverpool away, arsenal away, man c away....and every season we write them off before we kick a ball.

It's reality, we can't compete. Like a lot of others.

But why? How did these clubs get to be the chosen elite? When did we get left behind? Newcastle, with the richest owners...can't compete.

The rules about finances have been rigged to suit the elite. Even if we got rid of the owners, got a flash cash billionaire we'd still end up only like forest.

Premierleague is rotten. The football is dire. We need la liga to become the new premier league and start taking the best players. Let the Premier league crumble like serie A did.

Maybe then we'd see something that the fans deserve to see.

Just a girls musings and a what if Question

We are not cooked yet despite the death of a thousand cuts this season has been for us i was just daydreaming about what happens if we get relegated?.
So we go down and without a doubt Bowen goes say for £70million along with the Sky parachute payment do you think if the board were bold enough they then tell Summerville and Fernandes Mav(mmm those legs)Todibo that they will not be sold but there wages will not be halved because of the relegation but will stay the same as in the Premier League. This will of course stop the need to find replacements and help immensely in getting us promoted back quick smart and what money we then have for transfers can be spent wisely(since when i no)on a few players who can help us gain promotion at the first time of asking.
I realise like many that the club most likely will want to cash in on what players they can in order to pay the enormous debt that thy have somehow accrued due to the extraordinary mismanagement of the clubs finances but by doing that they create a new problem and one i am sure may of crossed a few minds in here and that is if we go down the route of selling up the best we have and then by some miracle we get promoted back up to the Prem you will then have to be spending silly money to get players who may MAY i add just be good enough to keep you up and if not the whole cycle will begin again and we will forever be a Yoyo club and we do not deserve that.

How much football do you watch?

Submitted by mcbikeman on

You can barely go a day now without a live game being on somewhere so i just thought i'd ask how much do you watch and what do you watch? with the illegal streams etc being available the world really is your oyster.

For me i will watch West Ham games on the firestick home and away and if a get the chance of a ticket away days only i will go see us play.

Live games on sky i do not always watch and tend to avoid the overly hyped big games and when there are three games in a day i may watch one but not always.

Champions league games not for me until maybe the quarter/semi final/final.

i do keep an eye on the lower leagues and if we are not playing thanks to the firestick and if there is a particular fixture that catches my eye i will watch that.

Internationals not interested but of course the world cup is a different matter but otherwise i enjoy the break from football when the Internationals are being played.

MOTD no i normally catch the highlights on you tube

So how much/often do you watch?
