Listened to some rubbish that passes for music this evening..the grandkids were all hyped up on such souless drivel i just had to put on a favourite tune of mine that just shows how it should be done...feel free to critic it and add some that are special for you.

Whilst i agree a lot of modern music is bad not all of it is but in saying that this Song i am linking has had many covers and world renowned artists sing it this version by this singer in this girls opinion is just the best out there,and yes Bikey i did enjoy your choice i have added it to my list:-)

Now that takes me back! Just got back from the cricketers where I live in Sarfend! East of Java one of the best pub bands I've ever seen live,must have been 20 people in there!! The demise of the local pub is heartbreaking!!

Can't think of any pub round my way that have live bands anymore....last one i can think of is the Sefton Arms a real sawdust on the floor live music 4 nights a week pub and packed out but it like many others has closed down.....its a shame.

Its good to hear an instrument being played live,but you dont seem to get it these days,as 65 says pubs dont seem to have it,they are more concerned with serving dinners now.
