Must be my imagination. Either West Ham made Hull look like a Sunday team or Hull made West Ham seem like Man City in the manner in which they comprehensively moved the ball around and easily won today. Should have been around 10-1 if they took all those must scoring chances. Not a single player from Moyes' starting lineup in the starting eleven today. Yarmalenko really bossed Hull City, and Anderson, plus Lanzini looked like class today. Pity Ashby had to be stretchered off with a broken finger. But the under 23 younsters did pretty well.

Speedy recovery to the 3 of them also .
Trying to get to the bottom of the last 2 carabou cup results i think first thing to remember is that this was Charlton and Hull ,2nd is that maybe Moyes is playing a master stroke here ,he's making them earn their place back in the first 11 ,he wants to see if they put in the same shift as they did against Arse ,if they do then he really has got a dilemma ,imagin a prem team with the likes of Anderson ,Yarmo and Lanzini playing out of their skins .

Thing is you have to see it from moyes point of view ,the players in question simply have not been performing with the exception of Yarmo ,lanz hasn't been the same since the injury and Anderson ,?well dont know what went wrong there ,as for Haller imo he will never make it in the prem ,bit like the Carlton Cole saga only Carlton had more energy and commitment ,like you say dicksy "bring them in for Sunday " but what would happen if they were bought back in and they flopped again ,people would be screaming for the manager's head

Odd that Hull didn’t play him, he was on the bench. Another highly rated kid that very made it?
