Two stupid mistakes is what killed it. Masuaku watching the first goal go in, and then Rice ducking under the ball at the critical time. Otherwise, it could have been a different outcome. The midfield was non existent in the last ten or so minutes. Should have taken off Noble instead of Masuaku. Noble was non existent in the second half instead of being an inspiration to the team. Needed someone like Masuaku to feed Carroll at the very end. It will be attack v defend in the next game against Mabu Dhabi Citeh. But a sneak win against either Leicester or Everton and a point or two against the Man teams maybe enough to see us through a very dreadful season.
