Everton, and clearly Fat Sam, keen on Cresswell, paper talk of a £25M bid. I like the guy but this looks like quite good business. Would be sorry to see him go, hes English, established prem player... just wonder what you guys think?

I'd go as far s to say hes been underrated this season dicksie. Still keep seeing people slate him, even though hes got more assists then lanzini this season i believe

Defending has been reasonably good, but I honestly haven't seen anything special from him this season. Not slating him, and we don't NEED to sell, but I'd hope you're right, Dicksy, that he'll improve under Moyes and Pearce.

Yep. Sell for £25 mill and who do we get to replace him? A cheaper player? Or someone who has to start again from scratch and find his feet in a team that sorely needs a bit of stability? We shouldn't be selling until we have a better option in place.

How long has Carroll left on his contract ,sure Sam would take him ,a bit of a gamble but look at the bargain if he could stay off the table and off the old king lear ,a free and 40 grand pay cut ,no brainer

yes he has not been at his best this season but apart from him and rice I would get rid of the rest....like the midfield this area needs a major overhaul and that takes money....reid/ogbonna/Collins/zabaletta/byram all need to be replaced imo

read all of the above and feel that 25M is not great value for an English defender. I was very impressed with him in his first season, since then he has been a bit up and down. My end of year report is Good but can still expect more. On that basis the board need to lock him in for another 3 / 5 years with a new contract.

It will all be about what he wants ultimately. A move back to merseyside with a more established premiership team. His family wouldn’t probably be against it. Besides ooo arfa is better

That Cresswell tops the assists from a defender in the Premiership. This is not just being a defender so I'd like to keep him. If he is sold it needs to be for more than 25mill.

With a better defender for less than 25 mill. Cresswell is good if you play to his strengths. Something Bilic didnt do, Allardyce did and Moyes not far off

I think he is a good team player and with better players in the middle he would shine
