Sorry to gate crash your forum hammer but I need to ask a question to anyone, and it's not worth opening another one. My question is about the pitch, why is is so far from the stand? I thought the the powers that be told us the seats weren't that far from the pitch with the retractable seating. Have I missed something and we haven't got the retractable seating? If not, why not?

His whole game yesterday was tremendous, he fought hard for every ball, was the first to every header and added a real support in our defence against set pieces and nullified Bentek aerial threat. Then of course the knock downs and shots he was creating were hard fought and he rounded it off with a superb gol thoroughly deserved. This is the best I have ever seen Andy Carroll, he never gave up and showed jut how good he can be... I really hope he stays fit

It always takes Andy Caroll at least 6 games to get match fit when he returns to the side. This was the first time for around a year he actually played to his full potential. It was only Crystal Palace and we all know it is only a matter of time before he will be out for the rest of the season but lets just hope he can stay in long enough so that we can enjoy a few more wins and a few more goals from the big man!!!
