You can tell the transfer window is 'looming', ready to 'pounce' before eventually 'slamming shut' again. The window is never 'gently' closed or opened, however as we are still some way off it's official opening there will inevitably be more Porkies floating around than even the biggest of Pie makers can produce.

With so many players being linked to OTHER clubs, many Hammers fans are fearful of the apparent lack of inbound transfer activity going on at West Ham, but panic NOT!

The domestic transfer window hasn't OFFICIALLY OPENED YET, but to read some of the media reports you would think that the club has been left in the wake of others and will be picking up scraps rather than top players, nothing could be further from the truth.

This coming transfer window will be the most important the club has faced since it's move from the Boleyn Ground to the Queen Elizabeth Park Stadium, new head of recruitment has FINALLY been freed up to do the role he was brought to West Ham for originally from serial Premier League winners Manchester City!

Jarrod Bowen receiving his long overdue England call up is good news for the player and for the club's kudos, but that is about that from the positive front because as all long suffering Hammers fans are only too painfully aware, West Ham players have a great deal of 'history' when it comes to beng injured playing for England!

West Ham United have officially confirmed that Stuart Pearce has made the decision to step down from his role as First Team Coach. Pearce, or Psycho as he is more commonly known to fans said: “It is with a heavy heart that I have made this decision to leave West Ham United. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work at the Club over the past two years, but I have decided that now is the right time to step away and pursue other opportunities and challenges.

Which was worse? Manchester United getting the 'coveted' sixth place in the Premier League that entitles them to play in the Europa League Cup as a direct result of Hammers losing 3-1 against Brighton on the final day of the Premier League, or Tottingham managing to claw their way into the Champions League places?

Ryan Fredericks, Andriy Yarmolenko, Mark Noble AND how many more will be out the door when the transfer window opens? Fredericks, Noble and Yarmolenko are definitely leaving the club as their respective contracts end, with the exception of Noble the club do hold the option to extend the contracts by a further year but will not be exercising that facility.

The Angel Ogbonna is apparently scheduled to be part of the final match day squad for the game at the Amex against Brighton, if this rumour is true it would represent a milestone for the Italian International who has spent majority of the season recovering from an ACL injury.
