This is not a drill. Karen Brady has officially stepped down from her position as vice-chair of West Ham after 16 years with immediate effect.

She has officially left her role with five Premier League games remaining.

Paco Jémez joined West Ham United back in January. It unfortunately isn’t tough for Hammers fans to peel back their mind to the first game of the new year, where we were decimated 3-0 by Wolverhampton Wanderers, gifting them their first win of the season. At that time, many believed our survival hopes were little to none, and we were facing a slow and painful relegation.

The gap at one point seemed impossible to close, but with just seven matches of the season left, the gap is now just a lone point.
