Julen's January? Or Sullivan's Surprise?

Submitted by Louis Nixon on

We're only three days into 2025, yet the news has already started from above about the hierarchy and down on the pitch with Lopetegui.

Apart from recent news of Lopetegui being on a three-game watch yet again, it would come for him at the worst time possible with Jarrod announcing on Instagram that he had suffered an injury, a bit of research would've led you to have known that he'd be out for around 6-8 weeks with the injury.

'Three Game Blame' Upcoming For Lopetegui Again

Submitted by Louis Nixon on

Yesterday's result was expected but still disappointing. Almost no fans would've gone into the London Stadium or turned on the TV and sat there expecting West Ham to win, but what I would've loved to have seen, would've been a bit of personality, a bit of passion even when losing.

In the first few minutes, we had an opening chance that Bowen played across the box, but Paqueta missed.

The first goal was conceded by poor defending, but we followed that up with some enthusiasm, Kudus hit the post nearly equalising, but from there, it all went wrong.

Three Points Gained But Not Without Pain

Submitted by Louis Nixon on

A 1-0 win against Southampton perhaps may not have been the easiest to watch, but three points are what was achieved at the end of the day.

However, this came with a cost. Two first-half substitutions saw Max Kilman exit the pitch clutching his shoulder, as well as Fabianski being carried off the pitch in a stretcher. While in the second half, Carlos Soler came off with a suspected knee injury.

The extent of the injuries are currently unknown, but Fabianski is forced out of the Liverpool game with the FA concussion rule coming into place.

Lopetegui's Nine Lives Live On After Uninspiring Draw

Submitted by Louis Nixon on

From the brink of sacking, Lopetegui has gone undefeated in his last three games, picking up 5 points.

The home game against Wolves seemingly appeared to be the fitting end of his time in the Premier League, with a replacement in Graham Potter supposedly at the ready, it was thought his sacking was imminent.

Site Announcement

Submitted by Louis Nixon on

It may have been noticed by the wonderful fellow hammers on this website that in the past couple of months, the site has been lacklustre in terms of content produced.

It is with a heavy heart to announce that after a long time of battling our father and hero, Neville, has passed away.

In honour of him, his wishes and his legacy, the org will continue to be run by his two sons.

His writing style may never be emulated but that's exactly what made it so special, he had so much love for this website and described it as a family.
