Mr West Ham Isn't For Leaving The Hot Seat But Is It Up To Him?

Submitted by nevillenixon on

Mark Noble, honest as ever, has taken to the press to give his side of the story amid the growing clamor for him to be dropped from West Ham United's starting line up. Choosing Sky Sports as one's given media platform might raise a few eyebrows, the wisdom of which may be called in to question, but obviously Slaven Billic's captain has felt the need to put his side of the situation. The fact that Mark Noble needs to 'go public' is a matter of some conjecture, however the no smoke without fire aspect is clearly apparent.

A Noble Act Of Sacrifice For The Greater Good?

Submitted by nevillenixon on

No one in their right mind would deny that Mark Noble is Mr West Ham, cut him and he will bleed Claret & Blue, Canning Town born Noble is just 4 games off having completed 400 senior games for his beloved Hammers, having made his debut as a 17 year old way back in 2004. During his time at the club Mark Noble has seen the good, the bad and the ugly even having played along side Ian Dowie! So to even mention any form of criticism is viewed as 'stamping on a puppy' in some people's eyes.

Sell Out Or Sold Out Seat Mystery For Chelsea Match

Submitted by nevillenixon on

A night under the lights with bubbles being sung at full chaff is a mighty experience, it stays with you all your life. Hammers move from the much beloved Boleyn Ground to the London Stadium has been fraught with problems but they seem to have been resolved more or less, and it is worth remembering that whilst the atmosphere at the Boleyn was incredible, less can be said for the 'facilities' provided for supporters which were spartan at the very least.

Missing Big Mich Could Be A Blessing In Disguise

Every cloud has a silver lining so the expression goes, and Michail Antonio's red card following two yellows picked up during the draw against Watford might just be a case in point. Antonio Conte's Chelsea are closing in on a title triumph in his debut season in England, and need just 29 points from their remaining 12 games to be sure of lifting the Premier League trophy, they are clear favourites and also highly tipped to get a result tonight.

Cassiobury Court Provides Help For Veterans In Need

Submitted by nevillenixon on

West Ham United and those associated with the club have always supported The Armed forces and been generous with their donations to those who returned injured both mentally and physically from their tours of duty. Often the hardest step of all for those in need is the first one, recognising how bad things have become is extremely difficult especially, for a once fully fit and independent person. Sometimes leaving a regimented regime can be fraught with unforeseen difficulties and when a person hits rock bottom there have been precious few facilities to help.

Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami played 63 times for West Ham between August 2008 and January 2011, scoring five goals, while Argentine forward Mauro Zarate scored seven times in 29 appearances between August 2014 and January 2016. Both players were embraced by the 'Boleyn' faithful, Behrami for his non stop running and work rate while Zarate was admired for his ability to be spectacular.
