Jan Window Will NOT Be Full Of Gifts

Submitted by nevillenixon on

To continue with our recent festive stance, villains in Pantomimes are an absolute necessity so we thought we should take up that mantle by being the one's to say how FEW, if ANY, new players are going to arrive during the 'January Sales'. From reading fan sites and the press in general, it would be easy to assume there are new recruits ready and willing to spring to the club's aid as it struggles to hold on to the coat tails of the Champions League contenders.

Diop The Fall Guy? Again!

Submitted by nevillenixon on

Easy target for keyboard warriors? Well it is Panto season, so everyone loves a wicked witch don't they? Hammers current fall guy, and their have been plenty in the past including Aaron Cresswell AND Manu Lanzini, is Issa Diop. Having been given virtually no Premier League game time until a spate on injuries made David Moyes HAVE to select a player he clearly doesn't reckon, Diop has become the target for fans who are disappointed by the club's awful run of form, never mind the fact that the squad is woefully short of players and without a main striker in Michail Antonio's absence.

Bring ALL Loanees Back!

Sunderland got tonked by Arsenal last night in the Elk Cup 1/4 final at the Emirates Stadium, one player who was conspicuous by his absence was Frederik Alves who is on loan from West Ham, the youngster having been dropped for having a poor attitude during training!

Well, correct us if we are wrong, but the whole point of sending players out on loan is generally to give them game time isn't it? So it is little wonder that Alves is a bit miffed at the miserly amount of playing time allocated to him while at the 'Black Cats'.

Cup IS Important To Moyes AND Conti!

Submitted by nevillenixon on

The League Cup, Carabou Cup or even the Moose Cup or Elk Cup as some call it, is a competition that has become increasingly devalued, the final nail in it's coffin being the lack of European competition as an incentive for winning the domestic competition and the fact that Manchester City had made the Cup their own for a staggering FIVE years!
