Transfer Dreams Fade & Die!

Submitted by nevillenixon on

Don't wait up children go to bed because there's nothing to see here, Hammers spectacularly underwhelming transfer window ground to a halt this evening with not so much as a whimper, whereas most oPremier League clubs have managed to get their deals over the line, particularly arch rivals and direct Champions League competitors Tottingham.

2+2=5 Non Arrivals

Supporters hoping for a fanfare to herald in a new era at West Ham following the influx of Daniel Kretinsky's investment, will be sorely disappointed in the way that the January transfer window has panned out, failing to yield even ONE player! Even the French Press have given up on West Ham's ability to close deals, they recognise plenty of 'posturing' from the club, but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, they also recognise it's inability to follow up the talk, with the walk.

Benteke Backward Step!

Now that Palace have turned Jean-Philippe Mateta's loan into a permanent deal ahead of schedule, they are willing to listen to 'reasonable' offers for Christian Benteke's services, either on loan or as they would prefer permanently. West Ham have been mentioned as one of the clubs allegedly interested in the 31 year old striker and given the club's urgent need for a back up striker for Michail Antonio might possibly go for a loan deal during the dying embers of this transfer window.

At Last A Break Through!

Finally it appears as if West Ham have managed to break their self imposed transfer embargo, the frenzied activity of the last few days seem to finally be paying off as the club looks forward to welcoming the off the radar loan signing of Liverpool's Divock Origi to its ranks. It may not be the marquee type of signing fans wanted, more of a one man tent, but at least it is a bit of fresh blood to liven up the squad.

Newcastle United have been linked with virtually EVERY transfer deal in the offing during this transfer window, as befits the wealthiest club in the World, however their incredibly 'low ball' offer to West Ham United for Issa diop shows that they are trying to set a precedent that they themselves have already shattered with some of their 'ludicrous' offers made for players!

Irons Late Striker Bid In Balance-Which One?

Submitted by Louis Nixon on

In the last 24 hours it has been confirmed that West Ham have submitted 'competitively' priced bids to no less than THREE clubs in their hunt for a striker, that figure excludes the numerous bids submitted for players in other positions. We will leave the recriminations as to who and why the purported transfers have come so far down the line, without any tangible fruition.

D Day Countdown Begins With Deal(s) In The Air

Submitted by nevillenixon on

The final day of the January transfer window has just begun, a whole month is just about come to a close with so many players pursued but as yet NO arrivals. The Caleta-Car deal that earlier seemed in the bag has gone worryingly quiet, the player was reported to be on his way to London for a medical according to respected French media sources. However he hasn't been seen although if he was travelling on a private plane from France, there are numerous small airports available to choose from and he could possibly be in the UK already.

Man Utd Admit Lingard Defeat

Submitted by Louis Nixon on

They might be the biggest club in the World from a global recognition and branding point of view, but Manchester United have admitted defeat when it comes to this season's Premier League title and are desperately trying to finish ahead of the following pack, so much so that they have admitted they will not do any business with West Ham regarding Jesse Lingard because they regard West Ham as direct competitors in the race for the Champions League places.
