I am trying to trace an old friend, Richard Coleman. We met at Loughborough
University in1972. Went to the 1975 Final but lost touch some years ago. Richie
would be about 62 now. he lived in Beckton and East Ham. Had two brothers. Married to Sue, two sons - Billy ( after Bonzo) and Michael (I think). Does anyone have contact details for him ? If so please post a reply. Many thanks, Jeff Brooks

I just want to post a big thank you to the guys that run / organise the Tenerife Hammers in the Theatre Bar near Playa de las Americas. I was there last week for the Liverpool game and was just great to be on holiday watching the game will fellow Hammers. The turnout was fantastic. Many thanks to the guys over there for flying the claret and blue flag, great to be with John and Lorraine from Bournemouth and Federico from Milan, all totally mad on the Irons! Thanks to all those overseas supporters that create a little corner of a foreign distant soil that will be forever West Ham... you are doing a great job!

our friend Lawro has predicted that wolves will beat us 1-2 this weekend...he bases this on the fact that they have won there last 3 matches but seems to have forgotten we have won the last two and unbeaten in 8 overall......bitter chap eh

With Aston Villa almost doomed before November!!! and still on single points today I found it funny that Allardyce thinks his Sunderland team will miss the drop because they beat the worst team in the Premiership. For me it's Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle (my three from day one) with Swansea looking over their shoulder and even Bournemouth are not safe! Thoughts!

Whilst I enjoy ribbing my mate about there soon to be demise from the premier and tumble through the leagues(I rmbr he cried when they went into div 3 first time ever)I do have some sympathy when I hear hear bfs coming out with the excuses for the coming weeks..all this nonsense about travel and tired players to many games in a week how can he respect the F.A cup(sound familiar? dare I mention that forest match!)....so I pointed out to my friend that sats game at arsenal is already surrendered as bfs will not risk senior players in a match he most certainly feels they cannot win...the spuds game the following sat he will also mark down as a loss so it is the Swansea game on the wed that is the big game for them its the one sam will be targeting and wanting to win the others just getting in the way of his mantra....I don't miss those days like everyone here who rmbrs the chelski match surrendered because we can beat arsenal 2 days later yeah right......better to lose trying to win than not bother at all.....he wont change so I like I said have sympathy for what my mates going through and how defeat after defeat(he got drunk on the villa result!)week in week out can get you down I did enjoy telling him that nolans a free transfer waiting to happen to his club though lol

For once I think its safe to say we will not be involved in it but looking at the table as it is if the bottom 3 stay as they are(I no villa are nailed on to go down)what would it mean for the premier league and the championship? 3 massive clubs relegated and into a championship where nothing is taken for granted other than getting out of it is extremely difficult....and for the premier league to lose clubs like that will it make the league weaker or just prove regardless of history/reputations nobody is guaranteed a place at the big table. middlesborough look about the most consistent team in the championship and I think will come up after that everyone else seems to be blowing hot and cold...derby/hull may challenge for the final automatic place and then the play offs and I would think Ipswich with old mick McCarthy may be the surprise package there so villa/sunderland/Newcastle down boro/derby or hull/Ipswich promoted would that be a fair exchange? and would you be sorry to see the back of villa&co or are you a traditionalist and prefer the smaller clubs to have there moment in the sun before crashing and burning back down the leagues?
