Payet Song

Submitted by boogerscaravan on

No, nothing to do with Payet and Alex in midfied. But the Payet song, we've got Dimitri. The Arse have got Ozil. Who invented this song? Was it us? I don't think it was The Arse. Does anyone know? Does anyone care? Does anyone understand?????

in this wonderfully unpredictable season which we are all enjoying I cannot help but wonder as a good a season as we are having why are Leicester who allegedly have a team of average run of the mill players with probably only marhez/vardy/schmiechell/ regarded as top players how are they doing so much better than us? if you watched there match yesterday you would see why..citeh away yet they dismantled a team of overrated mercenaries with ease...they came out of the traps fast had belief in there own game plan and abilities did not worry about citeh just concentrated on doing what they do and won the match deservedly....when you see us though keeping possession with square passes and backward passes playing slow nobody willing to take the game by scruff of the neck and push us on it is annoying...I do not have confidence in our chances on Tuesday unless we drop valencia and song go 442 and play on the front foot with some pace I cannot say I would be surprised if we loss....2 defeats in 12 games is a good record for us but we can do so much more but for some reason we don't have a belief....yesterday against 10men apart from reids header the closest we came to levelling the game was a defensive header that almost went wrong and a scuffed clearance that had the gk panicking for a few seconds....nothing that we produced that is for certain......what does that say about us? we are so much better than yesterday but it seems that we don't believe it.

Valencia

I stand by opinions and I hold my hands up when I'm proven wrong but I'm normally close to the mark when it comes to forwards, and he is not a PL player. As a pairing with Sakho it worked as he put defenders under pressure which allowed for openings for Sakho but ability and strength wise he's not good enough. Why look to shoot from impossible angles and distances? especially as a professional? How many times have we seen this from him and at some point you would hope that he would get it but after tonight's game I'm not holding my breath. It's so obvious what he is looking to do, turn onto the right peg with my head down and shoot. Is it me or does it look like he thinks the strike v Hull will happen for him every time? Lovely if you could but you can't, and being a forward at the highest level requires so much more than what he possess or offers to the Team. Agree/Disagree?

Gold annouces on Twitter next season West Ham will have a bigger and better squad

Submitted by Red Neck Iron on

Apparently gold has said the squad next season would be bigger and better than this year. So based on that out of our current squad of twenty five who would you hold on to and how many would we need to buy/improve on?

another slow start

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Yet again we started slow and needed a half time pep talk from slav to get us moving...we were second best for the first 15mins yesterday and only after ayew was rightly sent off and villa sat back did we get into the game.....still unsure as to why its happening maybe playing song and noble as holding midfielders could be the reason..away from home when countering your opponents that's fine but home you need to be on the front foot more...how many square passes and back passes did we do yesterday and that was after villa went down to ten men.....yes a packed defence is hard to break down but passing quicker and making the pitch wider is surely what you need to do when that is the situation....still unconvinced about song and hopefully we will have someone fit to lead the line soon because Valencia is not the answer as it is just not his game......one more thought payet needs to be moved inside as he is proving ineffective out wide.
