I could be wrong but I don't think we have started with the same eleven for two matches running. Injuries have hit us hard again this season, but unlike other seasons we have had the strength in depth to carry us thru. So I got to thinking if it ever came to pass that the physio room was empty what would be your ideal starting 11?

Last night it was being reported in the Turkish media that West Ham have tied up a deal for tore. The English media have now latched onto the same thing. I heard months ago we were being given first refusal on this guy. Sounds exciting Slav knows the guy at at the reported 8.5 million could be yet another steal if true.

this has to be great news to hear for every hammers fan...if you do well the board have proved time and again they have no hesitation in improving players contracts this sends a message to players in the squad do well you will be rewarded no doubt lanzini will be next... and maybe j.o.b to as has been rumoured a man even when not injured has not moaned and griped just got on with the job and a decent option as cover for the fullbacks whilst not spectacular his experience will help others coming through.....ginge earning a new contract when we all thought he was going to be shipped out he completely proved bilic wrong with his performances this season and super slav proved he has no ego and got him signed to new contract showing again if you prove your worth you are rewarded...our club in this one season alone has changed monumentally on the pitch and off it we are probably one of the best run clubs in the country COYI

Well, what do you all think about the two Europa matches involving EPL sides? First Tottenham and Dortmund. I suppose a lot of people will be happy that they are out, but it does mean they can concentrate on winning the league and I guarantee you they will be insufferable if they win the league. Second Manure and Poo. Sort of the same shit with different flies, really. But are we glad that Manure are knocked out of the Europa competition? Or would we want for them also to have a pile up of fixtures. And what about the weekend matches? Obviously we hope to beat Chelsea. But do we want Manure or Citeh to win? Do we want Liverpool or Southampton? Everton or Arsenal? Sunderland or Newcastle? Me, I'm happy with the results. And here's my weekend wish list: Chelsea 0-2 West Ham, Citeh 1-1 Manure, Southampton 1-1 Liverpool, Everton 2-2 Arsenal, Palace 0-2 Leicester, Watford 1-0 Stoke, West Brom 0-2 Norwich, Newcastle 0-1 Sunderland, Tottehnam 2-2 Bournemouth, Swansea-Villa: don't care. Basically this would increase our distance from everybody below us that matters, while leaving us on 52 points with Arsenal and Citeh. It gives Foxes a stranglehold on the crown (7pts with 7matches to go). It tightens up the relegation fight, which is important so that those teams keep nicking points from people above or around us. Doubtless things will not all turn out this way. But on the big matches, what are your opinions?

Has anyone else noticed how bad it is and experienced verbal abuse? I saw a game called off 2 weeks ago after the father of a player, who was sent off rightly for stamping on an opponents ankle, called the ref a fat c**t twice. Why should a ref take that sort of abuse and what is the father teaching his son and those around him? This week I was asked to be linesman for a cup tie and I couldn't believe my ears, as the women were worse than the men! I had a woman standing at the fence around the pitch calling me every name under the sun just because they were losing, and I deplore any sort of cheating and officiate straight down the middle regardless if I'm the referee or doing the line. After the game the other team players started shouting out and one of them called me an effing w****r for missing a push in the box and not flagging for a penalty??? I walked over to protect the referee at half time as I could see the assistant manager stomping over to have a word, to which he thanked me as he realised what I had done. So why is it so common these days and is anyone else noticing/experiencing this type of unacceptable behaviour? These kids are 12/13!!!

Like a few topics in the past, thought I would create this one for the discussion and recommendation of music, bands and albums... inspired by my late discovery of the band 'Porcupine Tree'. I'd been pretty much oblivious to the group who have been around for years and years and the creative force Steven Wilson... Really incredible band and musician, definitely recommend to anyone with an ear for Prog-Rock!

A very interesting time for us Hammers supporters as we may well be involved in an FA Cup semi final, fighting for a Champions League place or both in the next few weeks.
How many of us thought we would be doing this at the beginning of the season?
It's great for the club and us fans but with our relatively small first team the run in will test Slaven Bilic's management skills to the limit!
Some thought he should have played Carroll as an impact sub against Manure and brought on Valencia sooner taking off Emineka who was flagging in the second half but he has got to get all of the squad involved now as we are bound to get more injuries as we look to play two games a week towards the end of April and through May.
If we are to play at Wembley in the FA Cup final and qualify for the Champions League at the same time, each and every player who comes into the first eleven has to be able to fit in and be fully fit straight away. Carroll always takes weeks as does Moses and even Reid can take several games, players are coming back from injury thankfully and I for one am keeping my fingers crossed we can keep this fantastic run going and Slaven can juggle the players putting out a strong team regardless of who is or is not available!
