Don't know about the rest of you all but I'm finding it very hard to generate an interest in the Euros. I should be happy cos I'll be shouting for the boys in green and we will have NIR, Wales and England to look forward to. Ourselves, Northern Ireland and Wales will probably struggle some bit but IF England put it together they could go a long way. Even though Roy doesn't come across as a very NOBLE person he probably will get the luck. My prediction is Belgium to raise the trophy. Role on next Friday and maybe the whole thing will have stepped up a gear.

So pleased that these fine players are not included in the 'Dads Army' of Hodgsons Euro squad and therefore will not be associated with failure as that is what is on the cards after 'enduring' last night's effort against Portugal. It is not so much the Euro players (apart from Sturridge, Wilshire, Llana ,Cahill,Milner,Rooney, Henderson who should not be near an England shirt after the failure of Brazil). Vardy,Kane, Ali, Drinkwater and Townsend are all alas going to suffer under the blinkered guidance of Woy and his inept stewardship of a team not capable of winning but of at least putting in a fine showing.

Yet again he has scored another wonder free kick and his statue in the game keeps rising I only hope his form dips during the euros and he cant hit a barn door as this will hopefully stop the Madrid/barca/and now munich rumours if he keeps this up chelski/manure and everyone else will have bought him by the start of the tournament!

Just wondered how many on here has done the Stadium tour at the Boleyn. My wife and kids were all out and about over the weekend so early Sunday morning I decided to head for Green Street for the last time just to have a look about. First I had a quick look at the OS which was a bit soulless, well no one about of course but anyway I'm sure it'll be fine... I then headed to familiar territory cam-corder in hand. Most of the cafe's and all the pubs were closed which was a pain until it dawned on me, it was in fact 9.30 Sunday morning.
My favourite Queens fish shop and even Ken's Cafe were both closed! Green Street in the cold light of day wasn't great. The houses and shops were all run down and in need of a coat of paint, or two.. Anyway the gates to the ground were open along with the West Ham shop where I got three shirts and a few more odds and sods and was asked if I'd done the Stadium tour, I paid only a tenner for a ticket but had to wait for 2pm, it was now nearly 11.30am. I sat by the World Cup statue for a bit and watched the traffic building up and the girl putting the signs out and opening up the Boleyn pub. Strangely enough I saw a building mate from Andover heading into the pub so I stayed for a couple of Pepsi's, killing time.
The tour was really excellent and a group of about twenty or so were taken 'round by none other than Wembley winner Alan Taylor and absolutely top man Phil Parkes. Tony Cottee was in reception just sitting about with a coffee. The tour was about an hour long but I'm sure most of you have been on it. When the old stands were demolished and upgraded, they retrieved a capsule buried underneath with loads of Bobby Moore stuff in it. That capsule will be buried under the centre circle with the houses built around it, something like 40 homes a garage and a shop. I just reckon Karren Brady looked at what I looked at down Green Street and thought lets 'move on' and after being at both Stadiums in one morning, I completely back her 100%, we have to move away.
I just hope the shop and cafe owners can carry on without the thousands of fans around and most importantly, the 'ATS, SCARVES AN, BADGES will move with us all too.

So, how do we all feel about our club being associated with giving money to the Conservative Party? At best it's poor PR and timing giving the great deal we have on the OS and just opens the door to all the jealous fans of other clubs to bitch again about an old story. Maybe it's also just a bit deeper than that when you think of the club roots as a works team, blue collar, deprived area, etc etc normally associated with the Labour Party? Or should football clubs just remain neutral? Having just committed to two season tickets and being a socialist all my life, I am not impressed that any of my money has been sent to the foot soldiers of the ruling class! Discuss...

Forget the transfers forget the euros this threads all about the summer and off season..so anybody going somewhere off the beaten track for your summer holidays? or you staying at home and have weekends away if its affordable? good mate of mine has asked me and the better half if we fancy going off to Vietnam in july! she's not hot on the idea as never been anywhere other than the usual spain Greece etc me I am always up for something different anyone been know anything about the place?.....and wheres the most unusal place you have ever been and never thought for a second that its somewhere you would go.

So we are in the Europa league next season, as Man Utd won the f.a cup. We deserve to be there despite the way we eventually qualified. We also need it to attract better players, maybe lacazette is waiting to see if we qualified! Anyway did anyone see the game? 2 hours of football 3 minutes of highlights! Hard to watch as we needed Man U to win but I don't want them to win anything. Jesus the thing that struck we as the most shocking was how bad smalling is! An England regular and he was dire, embarrassing that he is probably regarded as an England mainstay. Looked totally out of his depth when under pressure.
