At last, I feel a bit of optimism for the national side.

Quite milligan'esque, but appropriate. Ive been away far too long, but rehab told me i have to rejoin socierty. Bastards.
I shall return with a physio room very soon, you lucky arses. X

Surely this is the week we have to get our strikers? preseasons underway and new players need time to bed in get used to there new surroundings and team mates.....buying someone and chucking them in at the deep end once the seasons started IMO would be a disaster especially when its the man/men expected to score the goals to help us on to the next level.....its a pressurised job at the best of times and strikers thrive on confidence so hopefully this situation will not drag on for another week....11 days to go till the euro tie we need some semblance of an idea as who will be leading our frontline as sick notes at it again and cannot be relied on to string a run of matches together again.

I dont know about you guys but I really cant stand Monday night football and I guess this season we will be playing a lot mainly due to the Thursday commitment (for as long as it lasts) in the Europa League. I have also bought a season ticket, the first time in over 30 years and getting to a Monday night game due to work comments will be virtually impossible. I just think a change, like they have in Germany, to Friday nights would be better as its practically the weekend.

Im so grumpy about it I have tried, and failing, to get 100 signitures on Change.org and really need you support. 100 is the magic number that then gets greater publicity on their site. details are below:

surprise surprise !! apparently he is feeling some discomfort in his groin(cheap jokes please)and he has been sent to hospital for checks....now we all no carroll doesn't do a short term injury and so we are now looking to possibly going into Europe in a couple of weeks time with two strikers who have made it clear they want to leave...ahhh its the wonderful world of west ham united.....still we have been linked with bats/lacazette/Gomez/anderssen/higuain/tevez/rodriguez now lol really you have to love the spin that our lot put out.....said it before and will say it again bring back cole and mccarthey with his burger van clause!

Well it's no secret we are after 2 strikers this season. We have lost emenike, sakho and Valencia both want to leave and Carroll is injured a lot with neither fletcher or the kids up to it yet. I'm not trying to dig the owners out but I can't help thinking their first striker in shouldn't be the real big one! If we get someone about the same standard as Carroll and sakho with a good injury record we won't need to panic. Then we can have a much more likely chance of picking up the big signing in the last 2 weeks of the window. When the dust settles and the big boys take their pick players are much less likely to waste our time or drag things out. Fact remains the quality players don't see us as viable yet. 2 weeks before the window shuts top quality players become available and then we should snap them up ruthlessly.

Odds on for the job apparently? Your thoughts???

I have a ST and there will be some games I cant get to, (like Bournemouth!) owing to my wonderful misses kicking me out and taking the house, car, pets, Xmas decs, etc etc and most importantly my Son. so I now have him every other weekend. I would like to find a mature local (Hornchurch Essex) chap that could use the ticket (obviously at a charge) the person needs to be able to pick up and drop of ticket.
