A lot of hoo ha going on about the £600m cost to the tax payer but what would have become of the stadium had we not been granted preferred and main tenants?
But did the Davids not offer to buy the stadium but were scuppered by Mssrs Hearn and Levy?
Will Premeir league football ensure business and job security for many in Westfield (especially food and drink outlets)?
Has the regeneration of lower Green Street been ignored with new state of the art housing thus protecting local business?
As I am given to understand West Ham will need to maintain the stadium (saving HM taxpayer money) an annual income and more jobs in the area. Am I missing something? But I would like to thank the fans of Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City and Utd and all others for donating so generously to our new home (and we had to get something back from those thieves in Sheffield lol) ohh and almost forgot how much lottery money went toward the stadium? so not as if our own fans have not contributed greatly (I know I did!) Personally i'd go for Rafa, a lot of people saying i'm aiming too high but i think he'd be better than Moyes and in my opinion a lot of players would want to come with him in charge.
As the article above says we should be aiming high as we are becoming a very attractive club.

Checking the injury latest ,Cole and Reid should be back Saturday,nobody else.Don't know how Allardyce will set up the side for this game ,but I think he would go with Adrian,Jenkinson,Reid,Collins,Cresswell,Noble,Kouyate,Song,Downing,Sakho,Cole in a 4-3-1-2.Hopefully Downing playing behind the front two where he is most effective rather than stuck out on the wing where he tends to fade.Then again, knowing Sam, he may go 4-5-1 bringing in Jarvis or Nene(who is a winger and specialist free-kick taker) and leave Sakho up front alone,but it would mean playing wingers and having Downing playing out wide.Whatever team is put out, Sunderland will be no pushovers, they will not put on a repeat showing of last Saturday's debacle against Aston Villa.A team that has wounded pride and no manager will be out to prove something,players will be out to show they are worthy of their place for the new manager.Missing Valencia is a big loss, as he and Sakho work well together, with the pace and movement they bring to the team pulling opposition defences all over the place.Only Tomkins missing, other than that from a full strength side,but team confidence won't be great after a poor run of results and fan pressure in the Upton Park cauldron could weigh heavily if they fall behind,so really its no easy call this match.How do you think it will go?
