What is this guy playing at , at first i thought its just a bad run and things will turn around , but now im worried because i think im turning into a conspiracy theorist, i reckon he misses the north so much that he cant wait to get back there , only problem is he's bringing those cheeky cockney bastards down a peg or two before he goes ,"how dare they question my authority" , either that or he's taking the piss , i wont go into the analysis , i think every west ham fan knows by now what the root of the problem is , but today was not so much the icing on the cake so much as crap in the kennel, and deep down i think the players know its time to get shot , i know this is going to sound like treason but when we play QPR i hope they play Zarati and i hope he has a brarmer and yes i hope he scores , we'll still win 3-1 though ,

I was just wondering we always do the topics on which we discuss our favorites to become the next HOTY but who dissapointed you the most this season. But to get away from the regular discussions about Kevin Nolan and poor Mayy Jarvis let's concentrate on the new lads. Apart from Zarate obvioulsy I have been a bit dissapointed with Valencia personally. Started bright but with time he seems to get less of a sniff in and always seems to run direclty into the first defender he tries to pass 1 on 1. Thoughts?

Got a topic to discuss-(is anybody out there?!).Are any of you fine orgers preparing to go to any concerts or festivals in the near future?Ill get the ball rolling-as a present for xmas just gone my fine wife,booked The who with paul weller supporting at hyde park end of june (with hotel too!!).Now for me this is the musical equivalent of seeing the mighty hammers in a cup final at wembley...I cant wait for the day when i see these musical heroes of mine on stage..so its over to you folks..

While on the subject of going to Leicester to batter them (or not), a subject which has always bothered me arose again. Why do most teams (and most definitely ours) play SO differently away from home? The only research I've seen says that while officials can be significantly swayed by a vociferous home crowd, the players don't give a toss that a few thousand people are booing, jeering, or casting aspersions on their female relatives. Very few players are intimidated by noisy crowds, and not a few are actually motivated to play better when jeered at! To my mind it's all in the head, if they are prepared properly psychologically I see no reason why we shouldn't play exactly the same away as we do at home.

Seems like an age since our last game.
Leicester sit cleanly bottom of the table, and look doomed. It would take a miracle change in form for them to escape. And while it's said that a wounded animal is very dangerous, surely not a half-dead animal? Yet what's the betting we start the game in a defensive 4-5-1 formation? Shouldn't we being going to The King Power Stadium (I still want to call it Filbert Street!) with the aim of giving them an effective 'coup de grace?' Let's ATTACK them. Thoughts?

FIFA, in an area that truly needs worldwide reform and monitoring, has decided that the problems of the vast amount of cash being taken out of football across the world by 'agents' is too tough a job for them to handle. Instead they have introduced some new "rules" which don't appear to legally mean a damn thing, and then done a runner. Is this organisation of any use whatsoever?

I would just like to thank Nev for what he does to keep this forum going. Over the last few months I think most of us have been going through withdrawells with the lack of all things West Ham and for me it has been murder. As an Aussie I rely on this site to keep up with what is happening over there and I love the banter on here so to not be able to get this forum is a pain. The amount of effort that Nev puts in cannot be underestimated and the dedication to this forum is outstanding, so from me a very big thank you Nev, I really appreciate the effort.

I know a lot of people (including myself) are disillusioned with the England team. But somehow when games come along, I can't help but be interested. We seem to have a lot of offensive options, but look pretty poor defensively. Italy seem to be having a few problems currently, so that might make for a good game. I'm predicting a rare English win in Turin. Anyone else interested?

had a right realistic dream last night , Sam was sacked and Roy Keane took over for the Leicester game , crap game , nil all draw and downing missed a sitter , hmmm , strange , wonder why im always in the same seat , maybe my dream thinks im a season ticket holder , which again is strange ,its an away game , why would i be a season ticket holder at Leicester ? any way im going to have a good cut with paddy power on a 0-0 , also im going to stop eating those cheese sarnies late at night . lol

Hello people I hope everyone has been well as I have not been able to get on the forum for a while and kept up with news. Must admit that I have had a miserable time trying to get back on site but thankfully things are normal again. Looking forward to lots of interesting topics and discussions and all things West Ham hopefully for a long time.
