Looking ahead to tomorrow evenings game and as ever we have injuries upfront Perez this time and caroll only 75/% fit rumours are that the young lad Silva we got from Portugal will make the squad and may even be a surprise starter.Exciting news and another boost for the younger players seeing another one breakthrough to the first team,I have not seen the Lad play but read a lot about his performances before getting injured(go figure eh)so if hegets the nod i look forward to seeing another youngster begin there Fledgling career at West Ham COYI

Arnie not playing what are west ham going too do that seemed to be the line i got from the commentary watching various highlight programmes this weekend.Well currently we are doing very well thank you,is he missed well thats a stupid question of course we will what team will not but being over reliant on one particular player is not a good thing and so what we are showing with our squad right now is the ability to continue playing and scoring goals without our Talisman and that has to be a good thing for the morale of the squad and we the supporters,Rest well Arnie get fit for the new year we all miss you but for now we carry on knowing the squad can cope how many times in the past have we been able to say that!

Saturday was fun boys was it not? but will it be the same next weekend against Fulham and the Tinker man? Well if we defend as poorly as we did for there goals on saturday i would not be so sure.We seem too suddenly have problems with balls crossed into our box and with Mitrovic upfront who is a real handful Diop/Balbuena will have there work cut out for sure hopefully a weeks rest will recharge Zabs batteries and help cresswell get fit for the game and most importantly lets start from the first whistle and not wander about misplacing passes for 45mins giving the other side a chance.Four in a row is very much achievable but only if we apply ourselves as if we are playing a top half team and not one bottom of the league because in many ways it will a tougher game after all what do they have to lose. one final point i must make is that has anybody else noticed how snugly those shorts fit Anderson:-) no lol i am surprised

Now i was extremely critical of him and i believe he was playing like a championship player but i'm happy to say My word hasn't Snodgrass proven me and multiple others wrong. Hes been absolutely sensational these past 2 months. I pray he continues his fine form!

Well we certainly have a manager who understands how to manage a team through injuries and in game decisions....and if we are to lose Arnie for a game or two then rather now when we will not be facing the best opposition....when Arnie pulled up last night with what maybe a slight hamstring pull how many times have managers kept players on just to see if its something they can get through only for them to tear it properly and out for months....not El Pel off you come son thinking long term not short term and how easy would it of been to put Carroll on but nope Perez came on and took his chances and that will be a boost to his confidence...3-0 game won off comes chicaritto for carroll and snodgrass who was playing well for Diagana this shows he is thinking of Saturdays game against Palace and giving players time on the pitch and others off for a rest....Wheelchair not on the bench again El Pel not going to risk throwing in him straight away but easing him back in....this is an important part of management and one he clearly knows how too do....things are changing at west ham and the revolution is slowly taking shape.COYI

Well the Jockneys en masse made our way to St James Park , we discussed the game beforehand and my prediction was 1-0 to The Irons and Anderson the scorer! Well I was close..... sort of!!
This was way different to last seasons capitulation by the same score which left us downbeat to say the least.
Well to be brutally honest we could have lost this and this was an out of sorts West Ham playing a Newcastle brimming with confidence after 3 consecutive wins.
Apart from our 3 goals some major factors added as Zabaleta made a terrific intervention to deny Rondon and the "Toon" striker was denied twice by Cresswell blocks, Fab made a crucial early stop and he promoted confidence at the back.
We still made a number of errors notably Nobes in the first half but his willingness to win back possession was evident. Rice his usual assured self and terrific (apart from the odd stray ball) in front of the back four, the only alarm was defending set pieces!. Our first goal came about with Anderson losing possession and Noble first to the ball playing in Zabs who in turn found Snoddy who put the ball on a plate for Chicha who got ahead of his marker.
Our second saw Chicha chase and catch Rices' looping forward clearance and dispatching with aplomb and finally Wilshires through ball and Anderson did the rest. A great trip home and where we did not take chances v City we did here! Maybe not a fair comparison but we were at Huddersfield and I am still shocked we got a draw as we were all over the place. Maybe an indication that Snr Pellegrini sees a problem and deals with it.
Anderson and Hernandez got the plaudits but despite the usual throwing arms in the air when he gets a poor pass Arnie was a constant thorn in Newcastles side constantly occupying defenders and creating space.
Still a few flaws to "iron" out but we saw progress, not complaining though 3 goals and 3 points plus a clean sheet and that in contrast to the same fixture last season was literally like West Ham dancing to a different "Toon".

3-0 3-0 away at the geordies like many i never saw that coming and now its important we back that up tuesday evening and apart from cressy with a hamstring injury the same eleven must surely start....and unless you are playing the top 5% of the premier league there should be no fear in playing in the attacking style that we did yesterday..COYI

Well fellow orgers it is true and is The London Stadium ready for THE man from plaistow! I have (as you are aware) travelled around northern grounds in recent years but yes I am here for the Citeh match , this sadly due to finance and time available that apart from a stadium tour and The Stones (May 25th gig) is only my second home game at our new "home" I am buzzing and yes confident (well more in hope than expectation) a win for the Mighty Irons is just what the doctor ordered.... well after all The Blue mooners will have to lose to someone and why not us.
