Apparently we have just signed this player and nope never heard of him but thats not a bad thing..23yr old attacking midfielder who Guillem Balague rates highly and says it is a good deal for west ham as an expert on spanish football it is worth listening to him.....£24million apparently and once all the details in contract have been worked out and signed he will be unveiled in 48 hours.....so we haven't signed him yet lol gotta love all the transfer tittle tattle

Any ideas people? Obviously hammers theme, little bar in the corner, sky etc...got a bit of memorabilia as well hidden about.problem I've got is there's arsenal, spurs,Liverpool in the family & I don't want to leave anyone out...so I'm counting on the org to come up with some ideas..I thought of an alan sugar effigy in the corner or a pair of klippetys gleaming dentures in a glass!!

Arnie at it again

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Here we go again with Arnie..this time he is saying he wants champions league football and inter milan interested in him.....Well just tell them £30million he's yours dont drag it out and move on...cannot be doing with this sulky prick and his brother creating yet another transfer saga....and tell whoever else comes out of the woodwork £30million no less someone gives us that you can bugger off to whoever you want.

West Ham Finances

I guess you guess may have already seen / heard this. Its a bit of a long haul but very interesting so stick with it.

Couple of things that are maybe a bit worrying:

1) Move to a bigger stadium and larger support with cheap tickets hasn't yielded a great more revenue, less than £2M / season!
2) Money available for transfers in this window depended on players leaving.
3) Value of the club "just" £300M.
4) Umbro are owned by Nike... didnt know that!
5) We need more football Tourists, implying too many season ticket holders that are conventional fans not spending enough on match day.

Im sure that last observation had 65 in mind :o)

Why no British Links?

Submitted by boogerscaravan on

I don't get it. Quite a strong statement to open with. But I don't. Why is it, the only players we ever seem to be linked with are from abroad?

Half of the names I see I have to look up. I've never heard of them. They are from minor leagues in obscure countries. They are relatively cheap is that because nobody has ever heard of them? Or is it because their wage demands are minuscule, compared to bigger names?

Lots of questions. I'm sure I'm not alone with this. So why no British links? Just chucking a few names around. Jack Grealish ok he may have the image of a big time Charlie. But is he? Or is that the persona the tabloids have you believe. Just because he's young, has a dodgy haircut and funny socks. Does that make him a bad player. Tom Cairney, Scott Mctominay, Matt Doherty, Rob Holding, Andre Gray, Harvey Barnes, Mason Mount, to name just a few. Why does Pelligrini insist on looking abroad?

The players I've mentioned could all be acquired for the same price, as the low rent muppets from overseas constantly linked. Why do we have to settle for Juan Sheet, Huey Dewey Luiz, or Lorenzo Fuckedifiknow. OK I'm taking the peez now but I just don't get it..............

Manure and Gooners fell way below there expectations last season and both have a massive rebuilding job on there hands and both want the same players in the same positions gk/lb/rb/cb/cb/mid/....both want the top players but neither in the champions league and in the gooners case they could well lose both there strikers to champions league clubs so while we shop at lidl and aldi maybe Asda those two will be stabbing each other in the back and fighting to the bitter end over the elite end of the market or rather the hand me downs of champs league teams who deem certain players surplus to requirements......gotta love that.

Day off today so I thought I'd throw out a bit of a debate & this one should divide opinion!!
My thoughts - he looks a bloody good manager, very unlucky yesterday & has turned derby into a force to be reckoned with imo.certainly not every westham fans cup of tea,but i always thought the more stick he got the better he played against us!!i reckon that was his old mans influence, cos senior was westham through & through & the stick his son got must of hurt him.anyway I reckon he will be certs as Chelsea manager, what are your thoughts people on him becoming westham manager one day??now I'm going to hide behind the settee!!;)

Ok this is for everyone apart from hammergirl as she does not like all the transfer tittle tattle.....so fire away with your wants and needs for the squad.
on striker front it appears we are now after Rondon that'll annoy the geordie faithful..he's on a Free so that ticks one box and he also has history playing for El Pel so thats a done deal then...midfield? Jao Mario available for £15million should we have another look at him? as for a left back what i saw last night and througout the season how about Stuart Dallas from Leeds or will he flatter to deceive at prem level like young mr Byram....obiang/sanchez/perez/chicarito/Reid/cresswell/nasri/carroll...can be shown the door to free up wages and maybe get a little bit of money in...so it all begins here...LUV IT
