We are all rubbing our eyes in disbelief as to just how good this West Ham team/Squad are and how they seem to improve every match..supporting this club for more than 50 years i cannot say i have ever ever seen a better and more consistent West Ham side than this one over last two seasons and i include the boys of 86 in that.

Supporting this club you expect the odd win against the big boys hopeful of a cup run and occassional final and of course getting battered by other teams home or away but it was West Ham it happens and we were comforted by that nothing flash like the boys from the Kings road no we were/are the working mans club hard graft gritty with some flair but good honest players.

Fast forward to today a manager nobody wanted but by god are we glad we have him now the coaching is top draw and a squad of players who are not sulking not bitching about not playing no a squad of players who all know the boss is the boss what he says goes(Ole jealous much!)but he clearly values all the players just not the starting eleven and he has managed to get rid of the deadwood slowly but surely and no Billy big Bol***ks allowed and oh how we have thrived under this regime.

The board probably cannot believe how lucky they are a manager who will not be pressured into buying for buying sake and yes he can dither and second guess himself and it can be frustrating as a supporter but he has been proven time and time again that he gets it right.

Other teams now dont look at the fixture list and think ahh West Ham next week thats 3 points nope that day has gone we are no longer a soft touch no longer go a goal down and its game over no we have a resilience a belief instilled throughout the squad that home or away we fight till the last second and if beaten we as fans know players have given there all and not just surrendered like many times in the past.

It is taking some getting used to and it is still hard work to think we are now going into games against any opposition with a real chance of getting something from the match how many times in our Hammers supporting lives have we said that.

Crowds filling the ground away support like no other this West Ham keeps pushing on and growing with each passing month and yet the players seem to keep in touch with the supporters and thankful for what we give them.

We are currently the hottest ticket in the premier league right now and the team on everyones lips(unless your a spud lol)this is some Era we fans are living in right now lets enjoy it because who knows how long it will last and when if it will happen again.

We need another leftback so bad hurts..we have been lucky that Cressy at his age is still managing the performances he does week in week out and although we have seen Johnson play that side he is not the answer and Arthur certainly is not so lets hope with our new scouting guru he can find a bargain left back to help Cressy out.

Striker wise i reckon Moyes will try and get a loan in like he did with Lingard and then see what the summer has to offer but i do not believe any player who comes in should be a back up to the beast as that is the worst thing that can happen...players need to know if you don't perform then your place is up for grabs that is every position no matter who you are.

So prudent as Moyes is with his transfer funds and the board love him for that no doubt i do think signing a left back is our biggest priority this January so lets loosen the purse strings a little Mr Moyes.

Seems like ages since I posted. Maybe the team’s successes mean we don’t have much to say? Maybe we’re better when we’ve got something to moan about? So I wanted to ask the question, are we happy? Is the board ok now? Do we want a takeover rocking the boat? Is Moyes no longer a dinosaur? Did we need that extra striker in the summer? Nearly a quarter into the season sitting in top 4, is a good cup run and top 10 our aspiration, as it has been for years?.

Spuds sunday so i hope Moyes does rotate the squad...pretty sure it will be Areola in goal Dawson/Diop if fredericks not fit then Johnson and as shocking as it may sound if fit enough lets give cressy a rest and let Arthur play.....Kral and noble in middle Yarma wide Vlasic up front! then if not a couple of kids give forcandles/bowen/benny some game time but not the whole match...Ants i would leave on bench unless something disastrous happens...i want our best fit and healthy so we can put Guppy/odbod and co in there place again COYI

My local team and they are doing marvelously in there first league campaign...last weekend i went and saw them play a tremendous game of football against Port vale a real humdinger of a game that Sutton won 4-3 with literally the last kick of the game.

After a week where the barcodes were taken over and are now the Richest club in the world and will buy anything that moves it was refreshing to see two sides play a great game of football where small budgets and living by your means are a must and so you see sides getting the most out of the players they have because they cannot go for and instant fix...4000 souls saw a game that would put a lot of the prem/championship matches to shame.

What a shame this lad is 24 a Welsh International and a regular in my fantasy football team before relegation. Diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkinsons Lymphoma cancer. I hope he beats it.....

Great news hearing this are we growing up as a club at last? forget silly money for knackered old wannabes looking for a last big payday(Mr Lacazette)...no at last we seem to of realised the need to keep players who are clearly proving there worth to the club on and off the pitch and rewarding them instead of looking to cash in.

What ever Moyes has said to our board they at last appear to be listening and not interfering in team matters long may that last to.
