So having a browse this lunchtime for various stories about West Ham and you get all the usual stuff then i saw a little story saying that "West Ham" are really worried they could lose both Rice and Soucek this summer.

Had to smile and laugh and say it would not come as a surprise to me or any fan that we have no plans in place as to what they will do if & when it happens.

When the seasons over i will be taking a break from the site and keep away from all the rumours because it does do your head in sometimes.....and i have a feeling this summers goings on will tip many a fan over the edge! but hey take a look across the channel and PSG it seems they are now trying to rival us as the biggest circus in town!

Now you may of noticed that all those goals were scored away from home which makes them all the more special and there is nothing like sticking it to those overinflated overrated egos that are the spuds fans and i wonder how many will be off sick tomorrow because they have to call into talkshite and moan like they always do

and my fav was Antonios because i was there but all of them were brilliant goals that will live long in the memory

Ok we are all sick to death on the Rice going here Rice going there that wont stop until the media get him sold but how much is he worth? the Gooners said to be the only club that interests him right now and with Chelski not in europe and we dont deal with the spuds who else? Manure are well just that Citeh maybe and after last nights impressive goal Madrid? Barca? Bayern?

Those last three wont have the money so that leaves the domestic market and considering he still has two years to go on his contract West Ham have to hold firm regardless of Rices wishes and not get our pants pulled down over a miserly £70/80/90million bid thats rumoured all the gooners will pay...if that was the case then i'm sorry players wishes or not he stays because when he gets to the final year of his contract we would still get the £70/80 million even then.

So if the Gooners came in with say £80 milion +Reiss Nelson and Smith-Rowe would you deal then or say £120million he's yours or jog on?.

People say he has to go to a big club but we are that stop selling ourselves short...only Manure have bigger crowd attendances this season...Gooners/Spuds/Barcodes/Bindippers nowhere near....if you want to be in Europe and a big club you have to act like one and not buckle just because some club ENVYS what you have and think they deserve to have it instead of you because they are supposedly bigger.

So how much is enough or or could he would he if we got Europa league football next season a new manager and big investment again would he say you no what i'll have another year here.....grasping i maybe but in football you just dont know he may just think give Chelski a year to sort themselves out and then go.

He's finally signed a permanent contract with Besiktas and I have to say I'm quite sorry to see him go. He's obviously made a good impression there and I doubt there will be very few of us Hammers who will forget his wonder goal for us against Chelsea.
His departure however has left me with some thought, as in my idle mindless moments I am prone to try and figure out the best foreign XI we have ever bought. And it's always the left back position that has got me stumped. Too early to give thoughts on Emerson and Masuakus' selection would give probably give howls of derision from this forum.The only other one I can think of is Ilunga who had a wonder first season then totally fell off the radar. Have I missed any other LB's?

Some great prospects including Mubama, Orford, Scarles and Marshall, the future (with the right man in charge) is looking very bright indeed.

Couldn't sleep last night so i got up and watched the Ghent game and whilst Moyes is the biggest cause of our turgid dull season the players are just as culpable and need digging out not on yesterdays performance but throughout the season......while i agree some are rightly peed off at the things Moyes does there just seems to be know professional pride in there work they are just ambling around waving there arms about whinging and the result is what we have seen...these are meant to be grown men so fess up and confront the problem but to a man they dont which shows what total lack of leadership there is at our club on and off the pitch...

Last night case in point we started alright for 5/10 mins then just stopped and let the opposition gain a modicum of control but when we upped it the gap in class was clear and the game could of been over if the players could be bothered and they were not.....and Rice just not bothered tracking his man let him go thinking ahh the defender will come out and cover it well they did not a decent exchange and Ghent got the goal they deserved and limited as they were they got on with the tools they have and could but for the bar won the game.

So the Malaise that is running through our side carries on to Sunday and the Gooners oh joy....unbeatable no they are not Everton showed that and Bournemouth but for injury time should of at least drawn but hey we are not capable of any kind of performances other than dire dour lethargic football and if the Gooners have a mind to it could be worse than the barcode debacle.

Moyes has had enough written about him and what he needs to do but the players well its well passed the time to pull there fingers out and prove they are worth supporting because for me Rice Antonio Bowen Pac Soucek and the rest do not deserve any backing after the rubbish they have been playing all season
