F**K the Gooners

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Normally these Wa**ers dont bother me but hearing them asking us to do a favour for our old mate Rice and them makes me want to puke.
Only last summer they were whining Rice aint good enough he's not worth £60miilion let alone the £75million they bid blah blah blah then for once Sullivan would not be screwed over and stood his ground we got the money we wanted and Rice the move he asked for.
So here we are end of the season they qualified for Champions league and they are saying they got Rice on the cheap actually said Half price what a bunch of maggoty Spawny C**ts they are and on top of that they are begging us to do them a favour....yeah right well you lot can do one and unlike Spud fans who were begging to lose to Citeh to Stop the Gooners well i am not asking West Ham to Do that all i ask is they play for us the fans and forget that rotten mouthy other club in North London....if by some miracle we win then we win for ourselves not those Tossers

Is there ever a time when its acceptable to bet against you club?

No, this is not Paqueta ... Its me :o)

Aussies are mad on betting and I'm getting into the flow albeit with very small bets but with interesting odds.

On Sunday the extreme optimist in me thinks we can win, yes I know its ridiculous and its the hope that kills you. The odds are very long and you just dont know! Well, my Dad, god rest his soul would say its mugs game, just go into the bookies, 3 windows to place a bet and one to pay out! He also pointed out the bookies car, it was a Jag and his Mrs had a mink coat, this was the 60's!

So, I also think looking at our defence and City's scoring form they could hit us for at least 7.

Moral conundrum... Do I place a bet on City winning 7-1? I still think Bowen will score :o)

kind regards, Tormented of Dartford

The Rebuild

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, 25, forward Eddie Nketiah, 24, and midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, 23 are all being made available this summer but at what price?

Ramsdale is a good GK and like Deluded i would take him Smith Rowe to but again it would not be cheap to do these deals but if you are a BIG club you have to do deals that can improve the squad not just fillers.

The defence is a big problem right now(some people don't think so!)and needs some major work doing so where do you think we should be spending our money? and any bargains spotted that you think we should be looking at.

No player has the balls

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Another weekend another thrashing another Moyes masterclass that is for certain and the players another lethargic can't be bothered display is just not good enough.

The players clearly know that the tactics Moyes insists on playing does not work but do any of them have the Balls to tell him we can't play that way we get stuffed when we do we do not have the players to do it so change it use the squad make changes....but nothing silence except for the usual social media shite about "it's not good enough and we will do better" by various players.

Well how about shutting the door in the locker room with the fans that spend hard earned cash to follow the club home and away look them in the eye and for Moyes to explain what he is doing and for the players to explain there performances.......not one of them would have the balls to do that and so i urge all you season ticket holders do not renew wait until we see who the manager is going to be because the club the manager and right now the players do not deserve your support.

The Manager Rumour Mill

Submitted by Deluded Hammer on

Maurizio Sarri, Will Still, Jose Mourhino, Julen Lopetegui, Hansi Flick and the latest, Ruben Amorim, a few I may have missed altogether have all been touted as Moyes replacement even though it is not yet guaranteed that Moyes is even leaving.
We will all have opinions on who would be best for the job, we will all have our personal choice for the job. Mine would be Tomas Franks, Potter for some weird, obscure reason would seemingly be a .Orgs popular choice but I think there is going to be one issue we should all think about. How much time are we going to give a new manager ( or even Moyes possibly) next season to get things rocking and rollling?
There is a massive rebuild job to be done with this squad and we should be expecting a player revolving door this summer. Presumably a new back room staff as well so it would probably be realistic to see a new season of just finding our feet which could well be grim to watch.
The new West Ham fans seemingly are different to the Hammers fans I grew up with from the early 60's and seem to be more impatient and demanding of instant success and much money laundering, whereas I was happy to support my local club, happy with the football, the occasional glory nights and bloodying a few noses along the way. Just wondered how you guys feel about giving a new guy time although I'll admit here and now, if Potter gets in I'll be on his case from day one.

The new Flynn Downes

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Sammie Szmodics the Blackburn Rovers player doing really well in a struggling side in Championship a life long West Ham fan and he would love to play for us.
Sounds good doesn't it and whilst it is a massive step up to the premier league players have done it before and it shows you do not have to trawl foreign leagues to unearth a gem that just needs a polishing up....of course where it all falls down is with the man himself Moyes.

Downes many say was not good enough did not show enough etc but was he given a chance? a decent run of games? of course not and "he only cost £10million" another excuse banded about like the amount paid will decide how good a player they are.....Leverkusen do not have a team of superstars that cost the earth no they have a good team with a great work ethic and have picked up players here and there for next to nothing with the odd exception and showed that the near £100million spent by Bayern/Gooners/Chelski cannot guarantee success.

So i would not turn my nose up at Downes returning or a bid for Szmodics or Clarke from championship as it takes many parts to create a team not overhyped overpaid individuals who only turn it on when the cameras are there.

So this summer there are going to be many comings and goings at the club and i so hope that Moyes is the first out the door......but if we sign one or two from the championship as long as we have a coach who is prepared to work with them and help them become part of the team i will not be complaining.
