FA Cup

Submitted by moore2come on

As we were eliminated by a Premier League heavyweight those scumbags from N Ldn were breezing past A Villa. They then get a lucky draw agst League 2 giants Wycombe. Almost embarrassed, they sneak a lucky win. These pricks get an easy draw almost every season, so you can almost guarantee their next opponents will be Sutton. I'm off to the bookies to put $5 on it. Come on (whoever plays the spuds)

well well well so all the drama and intrigue that has come with the Payet saga has yet another twist in it.....using his wife as an excuse as the reason for wanting the move because she is in Marseille and he misses his family as they could not settle in London/Essex.....well been reported on another site that mrs payet has been seen laughing smiling and seemingly very happy in and around her home in the Chigwell area.... what a horrid little liar this man is turning into..and refusing to play for the under 23's now well that's good saves the club more wages as this goes on.

New trio

Fonte, Snodgrass and Hogan. Looks like these 3 will be joining. Personally Im happy with those. We all know our board isn't going to get the cheque book out and spend spend spend on top players which would be more in line with the promises they gave last season about the move but oh well it is what it is. that said my view on these three is that they will be o.k. i think the squad has shown it is decent, can play good stuff without payet and they seem to be settled into a system now. so fonte will be good addition at the back, steady and experienced. snodgrass will give us some more reliability in the midfield and is a good crosser and set piece taker and scores goals, hogan is the 'gamble'…the unknown, but i like that, i like that we pluck a player from the lower leagues and give him a go. someone at the club must have studied him (or we hope they have) and rather than getting through a load more foreign gambles maybe he will be here to stay hence giving us options for years to come. we badly need someone who can either come in and lead the line when carroll can't or come off the bench and offer something else or even compete with carroll for a start…something we haven't got with the crocked sakho.

Rio tells it as it is

Submitted by mcbikeman on

Heard Rio on talks**te this morning and when asked for his thoughts on the payet situation he said bluntly if he was in charge then he would let him rot in the reserves...no player can be bigger than any football club the club never created this situation it is one of his own making and saying you'll only play for one club who clearly don't have the money to buy him well that's his problem not the clubs...well said mr Ferdinand well said indeed
