Crystal Palace Monkey

Thank god for Crystal Palace's win over Chelsea on the weekend. With our game against them now less than 2 weeks away we were practically a shoe in to hand them their 1st win of the season. We can now go to Selhurst Park safe in the knowledge that we won't be handing them that honour. So a big thankyou to Chelsea and we can now look to go there in some positive frame of mind and hopefully get some points.

West Ham v Burnley prediction.

Well IMO, it's quite a hard game to predict. It really could go anyway. Seem obvious but we have an almost full squad apparently. So I believe if bilic gets the right team and formation on the pitch we should win. If he doesn't then the best we could expect is a draw. I would say I'm inching towards a draw, but a defeat wouldn't surprise me. So I've covered all the bases. What do you think?

Bloody annoying when you plan to go to a match only for it to be moved to a different time on a different day well thats the price you pay for taking the tv money.....now the breaking news is that sky are thinking of showing two games on christmas eve..local derbies maybe err no arsenal v liverpool and west ham v newcastle....how ridiculous is that bearing in mind that there will be no public transport what are fans supposed to do? we all love football and the boxing day games but this is getting ridiculous i hope all the teams in the premier put there foot down and say no.

and now for something completely different

4 clean sheets in the last 5. & out of 12 pints in the league and a loss by a goal to spurs who are flying and free scoring. We're not performing well and we look all over the place with formations and positioning, yet we are getting results. I believe if we can grind out few more results, we will see a more balanced and set format. I think Sakho has to play as he's got the scoring touch at the moment. Chicarito and Carroll have had enough chances and they're not clicking. Lanzini coming back is a huge filip. He is the glue of the team for me and not having all season has been a major problem for us. We aren't blessed with squads like the Man U's and Spurs of this world so when we lose key players, as we did on Saturday with Antonio, it hurts. Arnautovic I think can come good but he needs to realise that West Ham fans demand more than a few tricks and flicks nowadays, work rate and desire count for everything. My formation and lineup would be
Hart
Zabs Reid Oggie Oooh Arfa!
Obiang Lanzini
Beast Lil pea Arnie
Sakho

Antonio/Lanzini

Whilst it would be encouraging to see these two back in action again it had been said both would not be fit or ready to play until after the international break at burnley...so when you hear both being put through rigorous tests to check fitness ahead of the game today i wonder if the pressure is getting to Bilic now and he is willing to take a risk...think he must now realise he has to play chico central so the wide option gives him worries...ayew cant cut it wont risk a youngster out there and his only other option appears to be sak but he blows hot and cold with that player....just hope he does not play either of the two if they still have the slightest worry as much as we would miss them get them healthy and playing long term instead of a gamble that we all no with our luck will go tits up.

Compete/Ambition

Ancelotti sacked as munich boss and not long after some spokesperson allegedly for the club has said "west ham are not interested in him as a manager" apparently they think he would not be interested as he only manages big clubs..mmmm funny that i thought the board considered us a big club and mr Ancelotti has been on record saying he does not worry about the size of a club he is open to offers from wherever they come from and i rmbr he once said that managing in the championship would not put him off...now whilst i am not advocating for us to approach him immediately why rule him out considering like most here no Bilic is a dead man walking and his contracts not going to be renewed in the summer....really i just think the board baulk at what they would have to pay this man upwards of six million a year which is entirely within there power as after all they run the club but how can they think we will ever be classed as a BIG club if not prepared to go after one of the best managers at the highest level who is now currently unemployed
