....I never ever thought I’d say this but it’s time for Di Canio. The team has become too big for the manager. There are players there that simply don’t care, are on too much money and slowly winding down. The crowd has lost heart. I like many many stalwart supporters I know, find excuses not to go to games. If we’re all honest, the ground is shit. A ball ache to get in and out of, overpriced and a long way from a football stadium. The crowd aren’t behind Bilic because they know he’s gone either Saturday, the week after or at the end of the season. The players play like they feel the same too. Only PDC would have the fans rocking again. Only he could unite the ground and show the players what playing for us supporters is about. Only he would make them fit, cut out the drinking and bingeing that goes on with so called senior players. On,y he would have the balls to get rid of a so called senior player for a youth player, deserving of a chance. Let’s be honest if we stay as we are, the board will alienate many paying fans and likely get us relegated. Yes PDC can be crazy and is a big risk, but week by week we have less to lose. Get Rio to come in for the defensive side and give it a go. I know I’d be more interested. I know I’d have a bit mor motivation to be there.

Is the end nigh for super Slav, cometh the International break, cometh the sack? From the 5th to the 18th Nov 13 days for someone to come in, get some time with the squad? I fear a thumping from the bin dippers will put the final nail in Slavs coffin and Fireworks will start. Personally I hope we give them a right East End thumping and Super Slav will get the boost he needs!!!

yeah i new that would get the blood pressure rising in a fair few of you...now i am not asking for his return as a permanent thing but as the caretaker role which seems the route we will have to go down as the club don't want to be paying out compensation for managers they clearly like....now i do not want H anywhere near the money side of things just as team manager...he clearly knows how to get players playing(i dont count brum i mean they are worse than us)and get the best out of a clearly underachieving team..bring in Rio as a defensive coach he has offered and clearly its needed...rmbr the season H saved the spuds from certain relegation they were playing like we are now and like all hammers fans we were loving it until they sacked the manager and installed H you new they would be safe and sure enough he did it...we have some very good players we just need a manager who can do something with them....controversial devisive maybe but if as has been muted they are looking at bfs again i would take Twitch in the short term....ok going to get some ice ready for the bruises coming my way!

Slaven Bilic says his team’s performances against Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace last week show how strong the Hammers’ spirit is – even if a late blow at Selhurst Park meant two points slipped through their grasp.

The Hammers looked set for a second away win in four days as goals from Chicharito and Andre Ayew put them 2-0 up at Crystal Palace, but a second half fightback – with Wilfried Zaha’s leveller coming from the final kick of the game – left a sour taste in the visitors’ mouths.

However, with a home match against Liverpool to focus on now, Bilic is keen to dwell on the positive aspects of the team’s response to that defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion last time out in E20.

The manager said: "Joe Hart was excellent, he was great on Saturday, so we had a great goalkeeper, we had a 2-0 lead with the two strikers scoring very beautiful goals.

why were we wearing Man City's strip? I know we were away and this second strip stuff but come on, why use a strip identical to City's? Did the board get their cast off's cheap?

Delighted to see the success of the England kids at all levels but winning the World Cup yesterday was fantastic until I look for the young West Ham players involved... none!

So what is going on at youth level at West Ham and can we really be called The Academy anymore?

Its a word being used to describe mourinho's united at the moment. the 0-0 at liverpool, the 1-0 over spurs. Im my opinion Man u should be good enough as a club to dominate teams like liverpool and spurs (at home). its a sign of their decline imo that they have to rely on this side of the game now. however it does prompt the question, where is our resilience? When I hear this word it draws up visions of a rugged, we will outfight you, we will not let you score attitude as a team. You have your midfielders piling back to form a shield in front of the defence, relentless running and closing down, and defenders who block, get the first header, and simply refuse to be beaten. These are not things that you 'buy', they don't cost money, it all comes from attitude, and that comes from an ethos from the manager who instills this in the training ground and in turn on the pitch. Even those players who aren't cut out for the battle side of things, you see them chasing down balls, pressing higher up the pitch, putting pressure on them constantly. This is something that is distinctly lacking in our game. For me it should be the first thing, the first foundation for every team, the 'we will not be beaten' attitude. it makes teams more defensive minded sure, and you can go completely that way and be successful (Burnley etc) but yesterday you could see it coming all 2nd half, this was not a team. whether acting on Bilic's failure to tell them to bolt up the back door or simply failing to do it when told, we lacked resilience. Why? We;ve had teams with Billy Bonds, Julien Dicks, Steve Lomas, Stuart Pearce etc….players who do not buckle, do not put in sloppy performances, but instead put body on the line and love nothing more to shut the opposition down. In our squad the only one of this mould is Collins and he hardly plays. Call in resilience, call it backbone, call it what you like but our team is distinctly lacking in it. You can say we've bought players without any, arnautovic etc. but for me Noble, Antonio, Reid have shown it in the past…so why not now? is it because they lost faith in the manager? Yes we came from 2 down against spurs but thats one match in 10 or so and immediately after we revert to type. for me the manager instills this into the team ala allardyce, dyche, mourinho. it becomes the basis of everything else, the simple know how to close teams out, to defence ruggedly and efficiently as a team….ive seen none of it this season and can't recall it last season after several thumpings. I don't know about the rest but this is something i want in the team. even Pulis does this. I could never imagine a Pulis team putting in such half hearted shifts for entire halves or matches. Laziness in training? Poor set up tactically? Players without fight? whatever the case, its not good enough.

our last seven matches in the league were where we had to get the points to calm our nerves after a poor start but unfortunately the team and manager do not seem capable of anything right now...out of a possible 21points we got 9....all teams have bad patches you think but when you look who we played apart from the spuds who were in good form going into that game we played huddersfield/swansea/spuds/brighton winning 2 losing 2 and away wba/burnley/palace...drawing all three two of which we had the lead late into the match and still could not win...continue like that and we will go down make no bones about it.now when you look at our next seven league games you start to think we wont even get 9 points from those playing the way we are..so we have liverpool/leicester/chelski/gooners..at home watford/everton/citeh away.....after the liverpool game there is another 2 week international yawn so will our board be brave and pull the plug on bilic? before we play watford i am not sure they will......winters here and it is going to be a long and difficult one for us fans.

So what lineup do you go with for today's trip to the Palace? Should he go with the nuclear option and select the same eleven that started at Wembley? Adrian in goal looks like a good place to start. At the back Fonte has done nothing of note but Reid and Zabaletta have been playing well. Everyone complains about Noble but the his first game back and we win big. Also Hernandez up front, can we afford to leave him out?
My suggestion is start with the same eleven, and have the "stars" on the bench as backup.
