Nice to see Kouyate amongst the subs there, seriously thought he was injured according to rumours elsewhere.
C'mon you Irons, do a job tonight!

Antonio had a chance to finish the game off and West Ham let Giurgiu back into the tie. The Hammers put too little energy in, too late, when they should have done the work earlier. Antonio has had a mare today.

Unselfish of Browne or did he bottle it? The pass to Antonio was shocking, too far ahead of his run given the poor so* just ran the length of the pitch hardly left him with a tap in. Wait to see on Browne but I think such moments make or break young careers, had he scored he would be remembered for some time. Dont want to write him off but he will look in the mirror today and regret his missed opportunity :o(

Long way to go yet before we see our best. Both in terms of fitness and in terms of execution. Still, I can't help but think that with the team we have we are going to have a good but unremarkable season. Anywhere from 8th-12th and with a decent run in one of the non-league competitions, but no silverware. A slight but realistic possibility of Europe next season. The big clubs have spent big and they are going to make absolutely certain there is no repeat of last season. In no particular order the top teams will be: United, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham. It will be a boring season for EPL fans generally.

Sunday will tell a story ,that pitch looked like my allotment and i reckon that had a lot to do with it ,Val seems to have lost it ,its like he doesn't give a toss and Tore doesn't look the ticket ,a lot of work to do

the pitch on Monday against chelski was as smooth as a billiard table yet we hardly used it because of the hoofball on show and last nights was bobbly so what it was attitude that cost us last night we should of gone in 3.0 up we did not and whatever slav said at HT I cant believe the way we strolled around the pitch...the equaliser was coming and yet our players showed no sign of urgency or fight and I did not see to much from the side lines to encourage us to change that

good result I thought under the circumstances. Seems the youngsters did good. I agree with you ashes, we will come good, unfortunately it could take a few weeks or months, at the moment we could do with a full fit squad, the defence has to do the job until they are all back.

Thought our defense was so much better than mon night bobbly pitch or not, I made Reece Burke man of the match really impressed with him and if we make the next stage
I think he will come along and will be a good back up for Cresswell. Choker with Ayew looks like G&S are gonna have to put their hands in their pockets and get a replacement Wot do you think of Wilf Bony????????????

How about sorting it out with sakho??slav- pull him to one side, give him the kick up the arse he deserves, then he might realise that playing for the mighty hammers is a better option than westbrom or sunderland!!
